Jerry Jones is a plastic faced Buffoon ..... if he was ever smart enough to hire a tough hardnosed coach, like say Bill Parcells, that guy would win a Championship in Dallas within 3 years ....... guarenteed.

But because Jerry plastic faced alcoholic Jones will never do that ...... we will be LUCKY to go 3 - 13 this year.

3-13...

well, at least we are about at our quota

:laugh2: incase you forgot our offense was the main factor in us winning 13 games in 2007. Wade leading a team.......:laugh2:

:laugh2:Wade didn't even run the D that year

Umm...yeah.

So what your saying is a Head Coach wasnt required to win games in 2007.

Right.

lol.

if they had a franchise quarterback where would they be should be the question.

The greatest coaches in the history of sports can't win without that.
SO then it really isn't about Parcells, but the QB?

They were 1-15 two years ago - where do you expect them to be now?
So by analogy, Parcells and Sparano went 11-5 with Cad Cameron's team, not his own... Now that he has his own, they were what?

The problem with your argument is, Jerry basically fired Parcells' (ran him out) why? Because he didn't perform. Has Jerry performed? Nope..

Who's going to fire him? Nobody. So let's say, if Campo was hear for 12 years as head coach with no Playoff victories, it's alright with you? Jerry would've fire his *** a long time ago, but he won't fire himself?

Get real, please. You have been brainwashed, we as fans can put pressure on Jerry, I'll guarantee you that. We pressured Jerry to pass on Randy Moss. We pressured Jerry to lose Owens/pacman etc... We pressured Jerry into hiring Parcells' and firing his buddy Switzer. Fans can make him make changes if fans pull together.
That's the problem. he should have never listened to fans and drafted Randy Moss, the one team Randy Moss wanted to play for. The guy was a Cowboys fan and has forever resented this fact. Because Jerry cared about his ESPN image, like he did with TO, we were set-back as far as offense is concerned.

oh jeez

I seriously think he got rid of him because of the opening of his new stadium. He didn't want any negative publicity while he needed to rake in the business. The problem is, people would rather see a winning team than a fancy stadium.

Parcells built the team that Wade went 13-3 with. last year he went 9-7 and this year will most likely be even worse than that.

Well, then, Parcells also built the team that went 9-7 the following year... bec. there wasn't a lot of roster turnover the following year either.

And he also built this current team as well... because most of the core guys are the same (sans Owens, a depleted Anthony Henry, and Ellis)

My hatred is becoming unhealthy...................He's not managing anything. He screws up alot of good things. HUGE difference jeffro..................learn the difference between the two and you'd stand half a chance.

YOU, will NEVER be the FACE of this franchise. Ever.

Al Davis wouldn't hire you as his GM. You're running out of hand puppets to coach this team. You've driven off any chance of team success at every turn. You are a mad man with a self-absorbed mission driven on by and at the expense of the fans. Some of which were here LONG before you rode into town.

"I did not buy the Dallas Cowboys for financial gain". Jed Jones - 1989.

Another thing to consider....

When Parcells took over, he got a miraculous 10-6 out of a team that was depleted in talent. Then they went 6-10, 9-7, and 9-7.

Wade takes over... his first year, they go 13-3. Then they go 9-7. This year, it looks like 8-8/9-7 is likely.

There are 2 aberrations.... 6-10 and 13-3.

Everything else is slightly above average football; 3 9-7, a 10-6 season, plus this current season.

Maybe that's where our talent lies.

Yeah. Jimmy just did everything huh. He's Jesus Christ let me tell ya.

I guess Barry Switzer too huh....lol

It sure wasn't Jerry's doing, that's for sure.

Just saying they inherited a 1-15 team. They greatly overachieved last year. And quite frankly, I don't really care about the Dolphins or Sparano or what Parcells does there.

They've played close with 3 playoff teams and creamed a bad Buffalo team with your hero on it.

We've played close to 1 playoff team, lost to a team with a new HC and Kyle friggin Orton as the QB, and beat two winless teams.

Not seeing where Miami is that far behind us at this point, considering they've also lost their starting QB.

Not anymore ...... the veil has been pulled away from old plastic face.

Jimmy Johnson is the only reason we ever won a Superbowl.

Amen to that .....

In 1973 a man bought one of the premiere sport franchises in the world. They won Championships in 1977 and 1978 and this man began to believe he was solely responsible for this team's success. His meddling became ridiculous. Media outlets reported that he was interfering with the coach during the games, suggesting who should and shouldn't play. He ignored his coaching staff and advisors and made moves he felt the team needed.

Sound familiar?

This team went on a 12-year playoff drought and this owner and his ego were the laughing stock of the league. In 1996 he finally hired a qualified coach and in 1998 he hired a qualified GM. Something many writers and fans thought would never happen with this big-egoed Owner running the show. Since then, this team has won 4 Championships and are pretty much a contender every year. They are once again one of the top franchises in all of sports.

If George Steinbrenner can put his ego aside and hire qualified people why can't Jerry?
