Jason did a really good job for us as our new OC; he's also moving the development of Romo along very nicely--much better then most so called experts expected. His brother John has also done a very good job as the TE coach; Witten has mentioned on several occasions how much he's learned, particularly in blocking. Tony Curtis also came on pretty good. In fact I'm glad Bennett's development will be in the hands of John.

Got no problems with bringing Judd into the fold. Most importantly to me, he adds further evidence that Jason has long range plans to remain in Dallas. Am concerned that Judd doesn't have scouting experience even tho he's been a coach at various offensive positions. But I don't see this hire as just something for Judd to do until another coaching job comes along. Part of it could be the desire for he & his children to be near his brothers--since his wife's death. But it could also be he's more interested in the scouting angle since his father scouted for us for so many years; do think his familiarity with what kind of offensive players Jason wants will help us. I do think this cements Ciskowski as our new Director of Scouting even tho nothing officially has been said.
