2007 was meant to be a long term approach.... Spencer and Folk were the only ones expected to contribute early on.

Yes, it is too early to judge 2007 but so far it looks okay. Nothing outstanding yet.

Spencer, Anderson and Folk looked alright.

The jury is still out on Marten, Free, Stanback, Brown and Ball.

2006 still has a chance if Hatcher, Carpenter and Watkins can come on but none of them look like Pro Bowlers or even quality starters thus far.

Folk was the big find - those guys are rare. We're hanging on to Stanbach so that bodes well for him. Spencer played well in his spot duty and should become a force this year. I think we did well...

Campo is re-energized, huh? well, I hope he's a better D coach than H coach - he did produce some good units with little to work with. Anyone who remembers the draft where we took Larrimore and a couple other CBs and they were all busts, has to be ecstatic about our secondary. Don't be surprised to see teams trying to run on us - no QB will want to challenge our secondary consistently. Happy days, indeed...
