Well, that's the thing with predictions: they tend to blow up in your face. The only thing lamer is using a gimp like Anderson as a measuring stick for Tony.

They only blow up in your face if you take them seriously or are making wagers. Otherwise, people don't take the time to actually remember what other people predicted.

Some do, though, strangely.

Romo is no Manning or Brady but he's nothing like Anderson.. We understand that much but in order to win a Superbowl he needs to improve.

I am a Romo fan, and I'm glad he plays for this team, but I've never understood NFL teams not going to a back-up when the starter is struggling...

I would never advocate Kitna starting over Romo, but there should be nothing wrong with sitting him down if he is costing the team... and I feel that way for any QB in the league...

Consider the Bills Monday night game where he was off-the-charts bad. He brought us back to win---and no sub off the bench would have done the same.

Quarterbacking ain't baseball where you have relievers. He is your leader and when you pull him you mess with team confidence, continuity and chemistry.

You just don't do it unless you want to make a change. Landry I think admitted learning this lesson the hard way when he was doing that stupid alternating-quarterback carousel with Meredith and Staubach.

I mean alot of fans want doughboy Wade gone.........but can we agree that he isnt as bad as Dick Jauron?

Its safe to say ....most all Cowboy fans want is have their team win the SB.....some I guess are just happy to win a lousy playoff game..

Our expectations are high.......and they should be......success isnt about beating a rival....making the playoffs....its all about the Lombardi

Be careful, someone might call you a tard with that line of thinking. But I agree. If a QB is having a bad game, there is no need to let it continue. It can really demoralize a player mentally, even more so than being benched. Things usually get worse before they get better. I recall Watkins crying on the field when he was obviously having a bad game and I don't think he has been the same since.

I wouldn't want Kitna to take over for Romo on a permanent basis, but if Romo is obviously having a bad day, there is no need in leaving him in there to suffer. Let Kitna get some snaps so that Romo can take a moment to get his head right. It happened to McNabb and he came back better than before.

Maybe we can get some numbers from Chad Hutchinson.. Jemarcus Russell anyone? LOL. Geeze, what a moronic comparison and an insult to Tony. The dude has won big games for Dallas and buries the Derek Andersons of the NFL.

Compare him to maybe Kerry Collins, who seems to be struggling like Romo. But, no Anderson.

Or, better yet, Compare Tony to Tony. He is not playing his best ball. Hopefully he finds his rhythm and Dallas gets on a roll.

Let it be understood, in no way am I a Romo homer. I see as I see it. The guy can play but I don't think he has "it" to get the Boys To the Bowl, and win it. Course, takes other players and such, but, starts with your QB. Unless your Trent Dilfer.

If that makes anyone a "tard" or a "dolt" because the don't blindly follow Romo..

So be it.

But, the guy is Dallas's QB, he has my full support and I will pull for him, even when he drives me up the wall with some of his boneheade decisions.

I don't think anyone predicted the defense to be this bad. And if they weren't this bad, even just average (not to mention the above average defense that almost everyone predicted), we'd be 5-0 right now.

I think the 8 turnovers has more to do with it than does the defense being this 'bad' which I don't believe they are. They are having to adjust to a few new parts and thats whats preventing them from picking up where they left off last season. Combine that with turnovers and you have a negative perception of the defense.
