The QB stats these days prove that the NFL is making a concerted effort to make it tougher on the DB's

They have gone overboard but I am not sure what should be done. Maybe a ten yard bump and just focus on holding rather than contact.

No kidding. Any of you guys pay attention to Cortland Finnegan (sp?) of the Titans? Holy cow! That guy straight rapes the man across from him. I didn't watch all of the game last night, but I kept watching him and saying "If that was Mike Jenkins, he'd be flagged 11 times by now."

I was thinking the exact same thing.

Free can't be good because Dallas is incapable of drafting good offensive lineman. :laugh2:

Free play did not make me forget about Colombo but I will say after seeing him play this past weekend I feel a little more at ease that he can do the job. Hopefully with this playing time we will see him grow alot more as a player.

Figured both would do well. Ball has enough playing time to insure that. Free is athletic enough. Besides Ware got him 'ready'.

For the whole PI thing. If a db basically tackles the WR before the ball is around, or if a DB is just completle all over the WR. THEN it is a penalty.
