He performed well at DE too.

I think he wore down by the end of the seaon at NT last season and that hurt the defense.

I think he could come up with 7-10 sacks from the DE spot and also can save some wear and tear by not going up against a Guard/Center combo as much. Plus that's 7-10 more sacks than Spears is getting at DE.

If we didn't have Tank I would agree with leaving him at NT by the way.

The player that intrigues me at playing nose tackle is Spears. I thought he did very well there. For all we know, that may be his true calling instead of defensive end.

I would keep experimenting Spears in the middle also.
