Tight end/rapper/video producer/Twitter star Martellus Bennett is officially a blogger now.

I'm proud to announce that Marty B has taken over the Cowboys Insider blog on ***BANNED-URL***. He takes over for Kevin Burnett. No offense to KB57, who did a solid job last season, but Marty B is a major upgrade in terms of entertainment value.

For evidence, check out his first post, which focuses on dating etiquette. He'll also discuss football from time to time, but he's free to blog about whatever crosses his wacky mind (as long as it won't get him fined).

Martellus Bennett E-mail News tips

Ok so this is my first blog. This should be fun, its a chance for me to speak my mind and entertain the fans. Trust I have a lot to say! Numerous things happen to me everyday all day. I wont bite my tongue, I always say whatever it is i want to. This will not only be about football but whatever i want it to be which is the best thing about it because there is more to me than football. With that being said lets get started welcome to Marty's World. Mmmm what shall i speak on? Ohhhh yea this is a funny story its about dating. Which is something we all have experienced before. Well this was hilarious but sad at the same time.

Have you ever went on a date and the girl didn't look as good as you remember? This really sucks! Yesterday my friend went to meet a girl at the movies he had met at the bar two nights before. We all know once you have a few drinks everything seems to look better it's what we call the Grey Goose affect. LOL (laugh out loud). Well anyways he goes to the movies to meet this woman when he gets there I recieve several text messages about how cute she isn't and it couldn't be the same girl. Now at this point the only thing I could respond was hahahaha haha hahaha. Instead of leaving he orders popcorn, sour patches and two big 44oz drinks and proceeds into the movie finds them a seat and begins to sip his drink. He watches the previews and tells her that they need to go see one of the future movies in the previews if they ever go to the movie together again and smiles. Then he goes "man this is some strong stuff it is going straight threw me I have to go to the restroom". Gets up and walks all the way to his car gets in it starts it and leaves. Hahaha. Didn't tell her bye or anything just left. Now that's funny but is truly messed up. Ironically the movie they were seeing was He's Just Not That Into You..

Now fellas this is a big no no. Although this is hilarious it's not right. And that comes to WWMBD which stands for What Would Marty B Do? Now if I were in this situation I would have handled it differently, first I would have said I wasn't feeling well the moment I saw her, that wouldve set me up to be sick at any time. Then I would've order some of the same snacks and made sure I got nachos because we all know how they can upset a stomach. Then I would've went in the movie and began to live it up during the previews while destroying all the snacks. Next I woulda been like man those nachos got my stomach churning I need to use the restroom. This is awesome at this point I'm laughing in my head. Then I would leave the theater, go wherever while texting her the whole time like I was in the bathroom. Then I would return towards the end of the movie. That's perfect I must say this is the way to go about it. Hahahaha.

What do you guys think? Ladies what would you do?

The DMN Blog is one of my subscriptions on the rss reader on my phone. So I get to read MB now throughout the day? NICE. Dude is a riot.

Sound immature to me.

Why not just enjoy the movie with your date then say afterwards, "I appreciate the time we had, but I don't plan a follow-up date."

Too simple, I guess. :rolleyes:

Me too.

Every class has a clown, but this is one huge stage that Bennett has to work with. I'm not convinced he'll know when to let up.
