Jones has the physical tools and feet to be elite but something is missing in his intellect and drive, I don't mean that to be demeaning but something mental escapes him as far as his instincts and football savvy go.

He definitely appeared less instinctive after his rookie campaign but by all accounts his work ethic was stellar.

I think he was a solid but ultimately expendable back with the emergence of Barber and our first 2 round picks last year.

In his defense, we weren't (and still aren't) the most consistent run blocking team during his years with us.
