I honestly don't see a favorite in the NFC this year. Chicago has huge problems on offense and was the beneficiary of a weak NFC and an extremely weak division.

New Orleans really has an awful defense, and they had a lot of breaks go their way last year. I even wonder if this team makes the playoffs in 2007.

Philadelphia is a McNabb injury away from disaster. They no longer have a capable backup. The team is definitely on its way down.

Seattle probably wouldn't have made the playoffs last year if they hadn't played in one of the worst divisions ever.

Dallas has a new coach and some concerns on defense that must be addressed.

The N.Y. Giants lost their RB, have a coach who none of the players like, have a lot of undisciplined players, and have a crappy QB.

The Phony-niners have serious problems on defense. Their record was inflated by a really easy schedule.

The Rams have fallen just below mediocrity and seem content to stay there.

The Panthers are showing their age. They simply don't have as many players playing at a high level any longer. Delhomme seems to have hit a wall as well.

The Falcons have a new coach and may be without Vick for several games. Unfortunately for them, they weren't that good to begin with.

Washington, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, Green Bay, Detroit, and Arizona are just awful teams.

Peter King doesn't pick Cowboys for Super Bowl

Sports Illustrated's Peter King, who makes Super Bowl predictions in June so he can claim he was first, doesn't have the Cowboys going to the desert this winter. He went with Saints-Colts, which would be mighty entertaining. (You think the Peyton Manning-vs.-his-pop's-team angle would get any media coverage?)

Why do I post this exciting news on this here blog? Because King picked the Cowboys to meet the Patriots in the last Super Bowl. Oh, and because it's a slow time for Cowboys news.

Back to surfing the Internet for the latest in the Brady Quinn saga.

Didn't sports illustrated pick the Dolphins vs. Panthers last year? :lmao2:

Hey atleast King isn't getting cute with his super bowl picks. The Saints were in the NFC championship game and Colts won the super bowl last year, so both the picks make since. Instead of picking two teams that didn't even make the playoffs the year before, he went the safe route, gotta give him a little credit.

He may have been a year off with the boys vs. Pats pick. Looking how they stacked up this year. I like our chances as well

****, I don't see us winning the Super Bowl either.

I'd settle for a playoff win, first.
