I honestly don't see a favorite in the NFC this year. Chicago has huge problems on offense and was the beneficiary of a weak NFC and an extremely weak division.
New Orleans really has an awful defense, and they had a lot of breaks go their way last year. I even wonder if this team makes the playoffs in 2007.
Philadelphia is a McNabb injury away from disaster. They no longer have a capable backup. The team is definitely on its way down.
Seattle probably wouldn't have made the playoffs last year if they hadn't played in one of the worst divisions ever.
Dallas has a new coach and some concerns on defense that must be addressed.
The N.Y. Giants lost their RB, have a coach who none of the players like, have a lot of undisciplined players, and have a crappy QB.
The Phony-niners have serious problems on defense. Their record was inflated by a really easy schedule.
The Rams have fallen just below mediocrity and seem content to stay there.
The Panthers are showing their age. They simply don't have as many players playing at a high level any longer. Delhomme seems to have hit a wall as well.
The Falcons have a new coach and may be without Vick for several games. Unfortunately for them, they weren't that good to begin with.
Washington, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, Green Bay, Detroit, and Arizona are just awful teams.
