Fan voting for the Pro Bowl's now over, and all of you can take a bow -- the Cowboys absolutely dominated the NFC end of things. Dallas players won balloting at nine of 19 positions, and 20 starters (Kyle Kosier and Jacques Reeves/Anthony Henry being the exceptions) appeared in the Top 5 at their spots.

The team is represented in the top five at all 19 positions. Heck, Tyson Thompson -- who hasn't dressed for a game since Oct. 21 -- is the fourth-leading vote getter among kick returners. Tony Romo (4th), Terrell Owens (7th), Jason Witten (11th) and Marion Barber (12th) were among the dozen who garnered the most love league-wide.

This vote will account for one-third of the final tally. Another third belongs to players, and the final third goes to the coaches. Both those groups will vote on Thursday and Friday, with results coming out next week.

So here's the leaders at each NFC position, along with any additional Cowboys in the Top 5 in their categories:

By my count, thats 15-16 that have a good chance to make it if the rest of the voting goes similarly.

Well, he's 4th in the NFC in punting average and net punting average, but the others in front of him are on **** teams. That's just the way it goes sometimes.

The fact that Spears is only about 6000 votes from Canty is pretty sick. This is where homerism takes over. Thompson? 4th? come on. :banghead:

I'm glad other sources are counter-balancing the insanity of "fan voting" - I mean COME ON... Roy #1 Safety and Spears #5 DE in conference... heh - yeeeeah?!?

Really? Why? Cause it's certainly not because of his punting ability.

Feagles is probably the league's best directional punter

something McBriar is trying to get better at, or was trying to entering this year

it's tight between those 2, but I'd take McBriar because his leg is stronger and he's a COwboy :)

NFC pro bowl team is really the Cowboys and a few random players from the NFC Central.

How can any non Packer fan vote Favre ahead of Romo.

Plenty of fans of other teams would never vote for a Cowboy under any circumstances.
