And he sucks so bad that he's never had his job taken away from him and Jerry has made absolutely no effort to upgrade his position in the last two offseasons ... why exactly?

But I thought it was Parcells who BUILT this team? So now he gets a free pass all of a sudden b/c he just MERELY made a mistake and it's all Jerry's fault for not replacing him?

Wow.................

Well. one reason is because Parcells made another bone-headed move by drafting Bobby freakin' Carpenter in the first round... Who backed up Bradie James once he went out this game?

The fact is, Bradie James sucks... He isn't performing, and neither is Canty, Hatcher, Spears and all the other personnel of the Parcells regime, with the exception of a few names...

BTW, who made the original switch to a 3-4?

What is your problem with Ware Inman? He is one of the best defensive players in the NFL

Ware needs to be more outspoken... He needs to light a fire on this defense by his mouth...

You forgot to mention how it was Parcells who SIGNED OFF on TO coming here.

Sorry-while it was Jerry's Idea, and it was Jerry who really wanted TO here, Parcells had the Veto power ultimately.
:lmao2: What the hell? :lmao2:

Not all players are that kind of player. Ware's play speaks for itself. To think he is less of a player because he doesnt get in players faces (even though he was doing that yesterday on the sideline) is wrong

No doubt his play speaks for itself. But his play isn't enough to a light a fire on this defense. I think that his opinion would hold significant weight if he started expressing himself fore vocally.

If Ware came to wade and said,

"Look, Brian Stewart flat out sucks, we need to bench him"

It would hold way more weight than a Bradie James saying it....

Like I said-these Parcells-apologists also refuse to believe he was HIM who had FINAL SAY on Owens coming here. It may have been Jerry's IDEA, but it was BILL who had VETO power.

Oh yah-Parcells was a tough-minded, team-first guy who brought this mentality in the locker room, and built this team to succeed over the long haul...but he still gets a pass from all his apologists for bringing in a career cancer in this same locker room.
:lmao2:

"Veto power?" "Parcells??????"

:lmao2:

Go ahead and laugh all you want...it's the truth.
So the head coach had veto power over the owner and general manager. What do you have to go on to state that as a fact?

Again-go ahead and laugh your *** off all you want. It's the truth-too bad you can't handle it.

Jean-Jacques Taylor and Peter King(among others) reported both Jerry AND Stephen had to ask Parcells on multiple occasions whether it the deal was OK. Otherwise, IF Parcells had said no, TO wouldn't be wearing the Star.

Like I said-go ahead and laugh your *** off all you want.

Agreed.

Asking the quiet Ware to be an outspoken leader is like asking the passive Wade Phillips to chew the players out for their bad play.

Good grief, we're doomed. :( :storm:

People hold it against Bradie James that he speaks to the media and that he's team captain. Just stating that the reason a non-great player like Bradie James has to speak to the media and be the team captain is because our one great player on the team has made it clear he doesn't want any part of that responsibility. I have no problem with the way Ware plays the game. He's a great athlete and he plays hard, he just doesn't have the Michael Jordan "it" factor that elevates those around him.

Who is to say he hasnt said something similar? Hell who here knows what he is like in the locker room?

I dont hold it against James either.

As for Ware ok, your "message board hero" stuff came of kind of patronizing as if Ware was not worth his hype when if anyone on this team is, its him

Jean-Jacques Taylor, Peter King and others not named Bill Parcells said that, huh?

You keep thinking that Bill Parcells was 100% behind that deal based on what Taylor, King and the Tooth Fairy said. If you want, not saying that you should, but if you want to quote Parcells after he left the team as stating that he approved that deal, I'll stop laughing. If not...
:lmao2:

His mindset is that they could just coast through games and win. Now we have to earn every victory? Are you serious?
You're reading too much into this.

Aikman said the same things when we began to decline around 97-98.

It wasn't just Taylor and King. Even Bledsoe AND Dan Campbell came out and said Parcells wanted Owens.

Like I said-go ahead and laugh your *** off all you want. You seem like you need it after what happened yesterday.

we really missed pacman yesterday. good thing Roy came back to help our run defense......
