Well that is GREAT news.

Last year it was "blah blah blah... all about the journey blah blah blah...."

I see he is getting comfortable with important stuff.

I hope he goes absolutely nuts on KC this weekend. Give me some good feelings about this team to get me through the bi-week Tony!

You and me both, bro.

If he talks, the fans hate on him.
If he doesn't talk, the media hates on him.

Seriously, what the hell is this? He says something completely fine talking about his position, and the response is "talk is cheap."

We as fans won't be happy until all our players and coaching staff are replaced with emotionless robots that yell a lot.

And we go 19-0, our running backs carry for 175 times in a season with 175 touchdowns, and our QB goes 406-406 with 6800 yards passing, 60 TDs and 1 interception that he takes BACK from the defense on a fumble and runs in for a rushing TD. Couple that with a defense that allows 0.0 yards of offense per game, with 20 INTs for 20 TDs, and 30 forced fumbles with 30 fumbles recovered and rumbled for TDs.

Even then, they'll complain that in the game that Romo was 22 of 22 for 434 yards and 6 TDs, he shouldn't have smiled after the play in which Roy Williams beat the #2 rated passing defense in the NFL after a punt to the 1 yard line for a 99-yard strike because his "attitude is too lackadaisical". They'll also say that the coverage was busted on that play.

This guy is alike a politician: if he really believed what he is saying here: REALLY BELIEVED IT, well he wouldn't mope around and hang his head, pout and posess the worst body language of any QB in the league. The guy has zero confidence right now. That's obvious, and the sooner the Wade and JGarrett show are out of town the better. I assume someone like Gruden, Shanny or Holmgren will be hired to try and resuscitate his dying career. And believe me, after they win about seven games this season, his career WILL be seen in that light.

I agree with politician analogy. It bothers me.

I disagree on Romo on the rest.
I actually saw flashes of the old Romo on the last drive of the game. Even though we didnt score. It was a positive.

They just need to work on it.

WOW, just wow. Sarcasm at it's best. I remember when I was in first grade.

Just remember, guys used to want to see Romo hang his head. They wanted him to be a perfectionist like Troy was and actually take the game seriously. When he does that, people say that he's not like Troy because he doesn't get mad, he gets sad. And if he got mad, people would say he got mad at the wrong people...

It will always be something for some "fans".

Claim that Tony only talked to the media Thursday because of the bad press he got for not talking to local media on Wednesday.

I'm not even kidding. This is how JJT and his media brethren operate.

As far as I'm concerned Tony's public comments are designed to be defensive and to shut the media out from any vulnerability they think he might have. I believe they reflect what he needs people to believe he's thinking more than what's actually going on in his head and I think this dates back to last season.

I don't blame the guy because it's a survival tactic in an atmosphere where he and the Cowboys are treated like celebrities in a soap opera instead of athletes. It's just that I'll believe his rhetoric matches reality when the decisionmaking and the results show it consistently.

It's what he is suppose to do to keep his teammates believing that they can do this! This is exactly what Cris Collinsworth on Inside the NFL was getting at. Romo is doing it for his team because he is a team guy!

Can't help but like Romo.

I want to see how Romo plays with real coaching and with receivers that actually know where to line up and how to run a route correctly.

If Romo is then still struggling, I will then start agreeing with the posters that say we need to draft another QB. However, as long as Tecmo and StayPuff are our fearless leaders and we have a bunch of scrubs at WR, then I will not put the blame on Romo.

Its not his fault the coaches suck and his WRs are scrubs. Now if Gruden or Shanny cant get him playing better........then he is probably done.

I smelled BS when I read his post. Everyone has a different sense of smell though.
