Moose Johnston mentioned having a strong locker room as being key for a team that brings in character risks.

Tony Romo, a leader by personality and position, believes the Cowboys have the leadership core necessary for Jerry to add guys like Pacman Jones. Romo said his expectations for teammates are really simple: Enjoy the game and put the proper effort into it.

"You're either going to come along with the team or the team is going to eventually leave you behind," Romo said the other day. "The guys that have come in have all come along with the personality of the team. We enjoy each other. We enjoy being out there playing football. The nature of our team is that the guys love the game. If you don't love the game, you probably won't be around. If you do, you'll get along good with everybody.

"If you enjoy football, you're going to get along with the rest of the team."

That's good to hear and it's even better that Romo is speaking out and talking for the team.

The people who say we're bringing in thugs need to look at our entire roster and how many high character guys are sprinkled throughout.

The Dallas locker room can deal with the occasional Tank and Pacman.

So many different styles. There is no one right answer.

Those comments are so Romo. If you just read that quote and had to guess which Cowboy QB said it you'd guess either Romo or Meredith.

Not Aikman, not Staubach, not Danny White. Interesting contrast of styles.

Well put.

We've heard this from many players now during this offseason. It makes me feel more confident in these questionable additions.
