They can wear their caps how they see fit,it still will annoy me.I would like to know who started the fad of wearing ones cap backwards and why though.I like to wear a cap as it was meant,to keep the sun off of my face.I think my viewpoint has to do with being involved in agriculture,I see a cap or cowboy hat as more of a tool that as a fashion statement.

What if you're wearing it indoors, in just-adequate lighting, but your hair's a disaster from wearing a helmet for the last 3 hours and you don't want pics of you looking like a ******* floating around on message boards for the next ten years? Then the backwards hat is more like a PR tool than a fashion statement, isn't it?

Maybe, but then again they're supposed to be football players not fashion models.

Backwards or forwards I don't really care. We have bigger issues than that.

I dont take issue when Romo wears his cap backwards, I can see his pretty face. But those beret caps... DEATH TO THEM ALL!!! I never want to see him wear those again. So far, it looks like hes stopped wearing them. Maybe someone let him know he looked awful, or maybe he was able to tell for himself... whatever the reason...thank you.

Different kinds of caps. You don't wear adjustable caps backwards. That is just silly. You can only do it with fitted caps, which is classy.

LOL exactly, which is why those two guys are epic failures. Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady know the difference which is why they are winners and don't have stupid tan marks on their foreheads.

Embrace the backwards cap; win football games.

I never understood why people got mad or even cared if he wore his hat backwards. i'm just glad he doesn't look like a goof ball wearing those stupid hats Jessica had him wearing last season.

who doesn't wear a baseball hat backwards anyway?

Honestly I could care less about the backward cap. I wear mine both ways. I am always rotating my cap when I wear one. One minute it is conventional, the next it is backwards. I will say this....I dont get the straight bill or price tag thing. I also dont like the big and stiff caps. I like the rounded ones...usually the ones the come in khaki.

As far as coaches go. I prefer the head coaches to look like Tom Landry....with a suit and tie (team tie)......and in the cold weather, a thermal trench coat. It looks professional, classy, and business-like. The assistants can wear slacks, dress shoes, and a team polo. In cold weather, they can wear a team jacket.

We had a thread on this once.

Lots of fail in it.

Who cares how he wears his hat? It doesn't affect his performance.

I don't mind the coaches wearing team fan gear.

Romo had a contract with a men's clothing company last year so that is probably where his snap brim hats and other clothes came from.

This year he has a contract with Starter, and wearing his hat backwards allows the logo to show whenever the camera is on his face.

I wear it backwards most of the time myself, when I wear a hat, and I am 47 years old. I do not know why there is such a big deal about how he wears his hat.

"It's not for me to decide any of this stuff. It's for the head coach and coordinators to talk about. Those guys come up with those decisions.

I dont believe that for a second Tony. I'm sure he doesnt want to hurt Craytons feelings, but i dont believe he had no voice in the matter.

My grandfather taught me it's polite to take your hat off when you go inside. I'm 36, and it's hard for me to wear a hat (or, as my grandfather would say, a cap--a hat has a full brim) inside. Some people take it as a sign of disrespect, and I think we could all do more to respect others.
