More reason Cowboys Stadium should have real grass like Reliant.

I have to agree with that - I like the real stuff

altho would not mind my lawn being fake

but this way Jerry can have things going on all year round different venues soccer, concerts etc

"There is nothing like the smell of good grass."

That last line sounds like something Quincy Carter would say.

TimmyMac isn't exactly the most professional media guy around anyway. However, I thought it was pretty funny.

Spears, Hurd held out

Defensive end Marcus Spears and receiver Sam Hurd were held out of Tuesday’s practice for precautionary measures. Spears has a bruised knee and likely will practice Wednesday, coach Wade Phillips said. Hurd felt general soreness.

That's usually my excuse for missing work -- eh, I had "general soreness" and couldn't make it in.

The Cowboys resumed practice at Valley Ranch on Tuesday, but did so without two key players. Wide receiver Sam Hurd, the star of training camp who has played well in two preseason games, did not practice because of a nagging quad injury.

Defensive end Marcus Spears did not practice as well. His injury is still unknown, although he appeared to be favoring an ankle or foot.

Hopefully, head coach Wade Phillips will have more on those injuries and others in his daily press conference that should take place around 3:15 p.m. (CDT).
