I thought you guys were just being paranoid, so I blew it up in photoshop, and it definitely looks like a composite photo.

Look at the edges around Tank, compared to everyone else, see how they're all jagged, especially along his shorts and the top of his head? Everyone eles's are smooth and blended. That reeks of the photoshop lasso tool. The light sources look totally different too. See how bright the numbers on his jersey are?

I have to play devil's advocate to myself. The jaggies might just be crappy jpeg compression artifacts. The edges of the people in the foreground are blended more because they are blurry in the actual picture, because the camera is manually focused on Tank. The lady on the far left (not in the blown up picture I posted before) is also jaggy like Tank is, and she happens to be on the same focus level as he is. And it also looks likes he has his foot propped up on one of those foot rest bars that run along the bottom of bars.

Out of curiosity, what does the bar hurt? It isn't like it is for the players to get down on at practice... It is actually very smart.

Are you kidding? The reason some of the girls are blurry is because they're in the foreground, while the camera is focused on Tank in the back.

The lens can't focus on everything is they are at various distances, people. Sheesh.

I think you responded to the wrong post, ... my post said nothing about blurry girls or focus.

The bottle of water in Tank's hand, along with the eyewitness report, tells me that it's legit.

I do, agree, however, that the picture has probably been manipulated somewhat, but not in the way many here suspect. I think someone probably went into the photo and "sharpened" up Tank's image to make him stand out more, and that's what's causing the visual discrepancy between him and the others in the photo.

I used to edit a newsletter, and I'd do stuff like that all the time in Photoshop. Sharpen certain things to make them stand out more.

You would think a professional photgrapher would be able to set his depth of field well enough to get this group more or less in focus. They are within a few feet of each other and he is far enough back to easily capture the whole group.

It could be real innocent and what we are seeing is just the results of taking a large digital image and making it small enough to use on a web page but I still think this is a composite made up to represent what took place. Again, I'm not disputing that Tank walked over and got some water only that this image was "improved" to make more of a story of it that it really was.

I was thinking that too, especially when I noticed that, ... here you are at a Cowboys practice, and Tank Johnson, one of the Cowboys strolls over, and nobody is looking at him ??? (well, one girl, .. maybe)

I am thinking he would be the center of attention.

Plus, that girl in front needs to suit up, she is huge.

I vote fake.
