I am going to get bashed, but I think we overpaid. When was the last time he took over a game? I'll give you a hint, Never. Half of his sacks are when the game is out of reach. I love Ware, but don't think he is the end all to be all that others do. I love the numbers, but more than once I have wondered where Ware was when we needed him.

Are you ****ing serious?

I don't know what games you are watching, but D-Ware comes up big in big games. (with the exception of last year @ Philly, where nobody on the team showed up.)

I wanna punch you right now, I really do. Damn testosterone.

The way salaries are going now In 6 years its gonna be unreal.

Did you see what kind of money Chris Canty got?

Chris freaking Canty .... got a six-year contract worth $42 million, with $17.25 million guaranteed ....... he is a little better than average ......

Just go back 6 years and I think you'd be shocked at how little players were making back then.

Just a quick little reference.......

Carson Palmer's 2003 Rookie contract.

2003 – Carson Palmer, QB – Seven years, $49 million with $10.01 million guaranteed

Matthew Stafford's Contract

The Lions announced the six-year deal with Stafford in a news release Saturday afternoon. The deal is for $72 million, with $41.7 million guaranteed. The contract could be worth as much as $78 million if Stafford achieves all of his playing incentives. The guaranteed money tops the $41 million in guarantees Albert Haynesworth received from the Washington Commanders earlier this offseason.

And now that I look at that.......how crazy is it that Dallas paid just as much for Ware as Detroit had to pay for their QB?

That is the real joke of the rookie salary mess. You have someone who had done NOTHING getting more money then a multiple Pro Bowler. All PRO as well.

I feel comfortable that Ware will continue to play just as hard now that he has this contract. Ware never spent much time talking about money allowing his agent to work things out and now that he has it I don't expect any less from Ware.
