pacman is going to be a lot cheaper

Yeah, and he may not be playing football again this season. Ask Odell Thurman about how serious Goodell is about not feeling compelled to reinstate these guys.

While I agree that any news on PacMan is a bad thing, does this info hurt PacMan, or help him?

I am of the mindset that it could actually help him appear to be a victim.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I'll be vastly disappointed if we don't land Pacman.

We had a major problem with CB depth last year, and a rookie is NOT guaranteed to be an immediate upgrade over Jacques Reeves/Nate Jones.

Pacman would be an immediate upgrade at CB and punt returner. He's still very young, and was one of the top CBs in the league in 2006.

You KNOW you're getting a stud with Pacman. In the draft, you can only HOPE to get one, and even then the player's not likely to be a total stud as a rookie.

My ideal scenario would be to finalize the Pacman trade and still draft a CB high, with one of our first 3 picks.

That is exactly what I have wondered?

Does he look like a victim now, or does he look worse because he paid money to this guy?

Lord knows, I can understand wanting to protect your family. I can certainly relate to helping the authorities make an arrest of a criminal. I guess that I just hope everything is on the up and up because some of it still doesn't completely make sense to me.
