I was higher on Hurd than Austin originally.

I would love for Hurd to come back strong after last season and make a few plays.
Not getting the Hurd love from the media over the weekend. He made a few acrobatic catches, but that's largely because he was covered very well and the QB either had to throw high or behind him in order to not throw it right at the corner. He gets almost zero playing time with the #1s. I'm not sure I saw a single play where he actually got a step on a DB and made a catch in stride because of it. He's a good 4th receiver. That's about it.

I'm not saying he should be the 1 or 2 or even the 3. But he is solid in what we ask him to do, and I like what I've seen from him in games. When he's thrown to he usually produces, and he's good on ST. I remember the Bears game in 07 he played really well.

I'm rooting for him.

He plays big in games when he's in, catches everything that's thrown at him, does whatever's asked of him, and is a good special teams player. He's not going to get a chance to start, but he could fill in for an injured Crayton and we wouldn't miss a beat. He's also bulked up and supposedly worked on his speed in the offseason. He's capable of pushing both Crayton and Austin, and I hope he does.

Roy Williams measured 6' 2-4/8" at the Combine. .

I'm certainly no math wiz, but isnt that 6' 2 and a half?? Whats with the 4/8 business?

Hurd runs a 4.61 40, Crayton runs 4.51 40. I know 40 times don't tell the whole story, but Crayton is faster than Hurd.
Hurd is better suited outside anyway due to his leaping ability.

Maybe at the combine....

Crayton is 4.6 and NO WAY IN H Hurd loses to Crayton and his slow twitch.

one underrated fact about romo is his accuracy (when he doesn't try to force the ball). kinda of reminds me of Aikman, but not as good. he knows where to put the ball to give the reciever the best chance. if he controls his temptation to make plays when things breakdown then he is going to be even better.

They measure height in 1/8s of an inch at the Combine. Most times you'll see heights listed as AdamJT13 listed Roy's -- 6024. That means, obviously, 6 feet and 2-4/8 inches.

i was at practice on Saturday and Sunday and ill say this Romo's thing is improvising and making something out of nothing if he has to stay in the pocket and pass he just is not getting it done. kittna is a better passer over the two days i saw him, heck even McGee looked better in some drills than romo. Romo just may not be a practice guy..... we know once it matters and bullets are flying Romo has ability...... i just hope this is not the down hill slide.

Wow. Methinks you started the drinking a bit early for the 8:50 practices. I'm not sure it's possible for me to disagree any stronger.
