As he answered question after question following the Cowboys' 33-31 loss to the New York Giants at Cowboys Stadium in September, Tony Romo kept saying the same thing.

"We can't win games if I do things like that," Romo said.

"That" was throwing three interceptions while passing for 127 yards and completing 13-of-29 attampts. After spending the entire off-season preaching ball security and better decision making, it was a jarring performance, especially his final interception when he failed to recognize safety Kenny Phillips deep on a throw to Sam Hurd.

But at the time Romo promised to get better and not make such errors.

Since that Giants' game, Romo has had four passes intercepted to go with 13 touchdown passes. He has had five games without an interception, and he is on pace to throw a career-low 10 interceptions. His previous low was 13 and that came in 11 games (10 starts) in 2006 and he had 14 last year in 13 starts.

I heard in december he throws about 20. Its true I heard it.

As long as he continues to play smart football like he has been then he's going to be fine. I'm glad to see him protecting the ball much better this year.

20 per game in December. That's what I heard.

Good to see and I hope it continues.

That being said, he's dodged about for interceptions his last two games.

20 in each half of each game in December. That's what I heard.

Plus about 30 fumbles. Cut him now, draft Sam Bradford.

For Romo to be Romo-friendly this December/January/February two things have to happen:

(1) It's up to the offensive coordinator to put Romo in winnable situations, meaning he has to stop getting outsmarted by opposing defensive coordiantors that bait him - and in turn Romo - into bad passing decisions. Enough with this "take waht defense gives you" garbage; it's time he uses that Princeton-head and starts dictating games to defenses.

(2) Also, the OL has to also maintain its pass-blocking. It should dominate every game it plays in this area - and not just in the run game - and it's time, finally, that it does that now, and does it consistently. No more of these one-off lapeses, or games wheere guys like Adams or Gurode take the day off mentally.

These 2 things have been the Achiles Heels of our offense all season. When the offense sputters it's some combination of these two elemets that are directly to blame, and I've listed them in order of fualt and impact.

I've heard that as he travels in time, he possesses the bodies of past quarterbacks and has them throw interceptions too.

hahaahaahaha, this one was absolutely hilarious.....:laugh2:

His interceptions are down, and the sacks are up. The reason? He is finally learning to live to fight another play. It's made him a better QB.

And I've heard that all of those other past quarterbacks then go on to become analysts after their retirement, and then bash Tony Romo in the media.

For me, it is 7 and a half hours from now.

I can almost hear the cracks starting in the sky. It's going to fall you know.
