It really is shocking when you look at the fact that after their first touchdown yesterday, we outscored them 37-7 until their td in garbage time!!!! That is amazing

Exactly. They earned it. Just work them hard when they get back, and find a way to put a stop to the false start penalties! PLEASE! 5 or 6 false start penalties for a home game is NUTS!

I was amazed at how well our defense played after giving up that first touchdown, and then see our offense go three and out in under a minute. Right there it really looked like he might be a LONG day. But they turned it around and some playmakers really started to emerge. Ware and spencer both harassed ryan all day. Sensabaugh was all over the field and just missed a pick, probably because of that cast on his hand. Jenkins is turning into a great corner, but newman is starting to worry me.

Perhaps what i am most excited about is the play of romo. It looked like the romo of old. For the longest time there the past year and a half or so, he would not take off and run. We saw him do this so many times yesterday. Stepping up in the pocket and completing passes downfield, instead of standing back there and waiting for something to happen. He was flat out making plays out there. And he looked like he was really enjoying the game again.

Both Sensabaugh and Jenkins looked really good. TNew rebounded after a rough start. He looked pretty good in the 2nd half. Scandrick covered Gonzo well for the most part.

My only complaint other than penalties was that the run defense was a little weak when Snelling was running the rock.

Romo looks like he has found his groove.

Any word on how long Rossum might be out?

One play and out for the game, it didn't hurt us but what a waste of a roster spot. But i don't really give crayton credit for that td. Anybody could have scored on that. So i think rossum would give us some stability back there.

I think it caught us off guard when they ran it with snelling several times. He's a big guy but he is very fast for his size. I bet we were expecting the pass on several of those plays, since they took turner out. But they did a really good job of shutting down turner, but at the same time, he hasn't really got it going against anyone this year.

And the penalties need to be cleaned up, but they weren't as costly as they have been. Except for that offside on bowen that kept their td drive alive (but it thought he got back in time).

I wondered if there would be a thread on this.

I made a point of listening to the Ranch Report on the Ticket this morning, and no joke, I bet out of a six or seven minute segment, the first minute was about the good win and the next five or six minutes were about what a bad idea this Monday off was.

I mean, seriously? Everone all week says what a great up-and-coming team Atlanta is becoming -- Matt Ryan is drawing comparisons to Peyton Manning and Mike Smith is being lauded for how efficient and organized they are -- and after we stomp them, 80% or more of the talk is about Wade screwing up because he gave them Monday off?

And Archer is usually pretty balanced and bias free. Very disappointing.

I'm trying really hard to be surprised that you said this... But I just can't.

During the bye week, Phillips worked them hard. He probably told them they can have their day off once they beat the Falcons. They work hard, do their job, and kick the **** out of the dirty birds, so he follows up on his word and gives them Monday off.

No big deal anyway.

I love the mediots!!!

They do keep me giggling at least.

One hand this was a must win, live or die, make or beak game... they win the game and now it's just "business as usual" no rewards???

WOW!

They get to skip film day... big whoop.

They aren't missing a single practice and most of the team will show up anyway for treatments. The dufus blog poster has already noted the player's parking lot was half full by 9 am.
Kinks and film on a team they already beat. I hate our media.

I think the team should have gotten today off if yesterday's game left them spent physically

but they seemed to handle the Falcons pretty easily

They won a big game and they're playing Seattle next. If they're gonna get a day off...now's a good time. I guarantee that if it were the Philly game this week, they wouldn't have the day off.

The penalties have to be fixed. This is something that the media needs to make sure Wade is addressing.

I wish they would use their power of access to keep the coaches in line, rather than whine and complain.

It would also be nice if a few people started asking Jerry Jones why it's ok to continue being GM after 13 years of failure. Just wondering.
