I'm not arguing for or against anything. Not even arguing. I don't know enough to actually predict anything. I don't know that RW can't play near the LOS via scheme or even as a hybrid LB. I'd prefer to have a bigger version of RW as a LB. I don't see how a player his size can play as an ILB in a 3-4 playing the gaps. He's going to get OL on him way too often for him to run around them. He's too small to engage successfully on a consistent basis.

His best chance for success is to come from his safety position and not give the offense notice of him coming or to just add to the run defense. He's been so unsteady at defending passes I'm not confident he can do it consistently.

BTW, I think he wouldn't be that hard to run on if you're talking about him playing the role of ILB.
