Which Cowboy goes off this week?

We've talked at length about the Cowboys' weapons. The truth of the matter is that no one in the locker room can say for sure who will have a big day until game time.

If the defense tries to take away Terrell Owens, you've got Miles Austin or Patrick Crayton. Stuff Marion Barber, and Felix Jones can get loose. Leave the middle open and Jason Witten will run wild.

"Guys make impacts in different ways," Austin said. "Last game, T.O. had the big blocks downfield. He caught two big passes, but it was his blocks that were making the difference. This week, you never know. If they try to do the same type of defense, we'll continue to do what we did last week. If they don't, he'll get off. One way or another, hopefully we can put some points on the board."

So who exactly will go off against the Commanders and why? My guess is that the running game has a big day since Washington will be without Jason Taylor.

We let the Commanders choose which way they want to die. We have faced 3 teams and each one tried something different. Cleveland tried having more men in coverage that did not work. Philly tried to blitz us that did not work and the Pack tried to take away Owens and that did not work. What I like about this Cowboys team is no matter how you try and defend us we have the people to counter what you are doing.

I would rather the Cowboys go out and earn it. I don't expect the Cowboys to be handed anything and I don't take any games for granted but I do know that thus far 3 different teams tried 3 different strategies and none could stop the offense. You focus on taking away the passing game well the Cowboys running game is good enough to take over the game, you stop our running game we have the talent and ability to beat you through the air.

After last game, Austin is the guy I'm curious to see what he does. Really, he even impressed me with his two catches against Philly, too. On one of them, the ball was thrown low and he did a good job of catching it and turning up field for the first down. Only reason I say that is that for him to be a good receiver he's going to have to do more than just run fly routes, and I think the Philly game showed a glimpse of that.

Anyway, back to the point, I'm excited to see if Austin can continue developing and taking advantage of the attention TO and Witten get. I would imagine Washington is going to want to take away TO considering he torched them last time he played them.

So who exactly will go off against the Commanders and why? My guess is that the running game has a big day since Washington will be without Jason Taylor.

Taylor was the weak link in their run defense, Demetric Evans is a much better run stopper he just isn't a pass rusher.

I'll say Pac-Man . Through the first three games he hasn't done much . The Rust-Oleum should have kicked in by now . I'll say he pops a return on the Skins , and hands Campbell his first INT of the year .

I don't know that he "Goes off" , but I'll also take a shot at Bennett getting his first TD this weekend .

Actually austin is a developing player. He has had two good years on special teams and last year he started to show that his hard work and intelligence were paying off as a wr.

he continued that this camp and preseason until his injury. Most players in this league learn the nfl game on special teams and then move over to an offensive or defensive unit and emerge. He is on that path.

he is big, physical and fast. He buckled smoots knees last year a couple of times but didnt catch the ball. he has shown that he has learned to catch the ball.

I look forward to him getting a one on one with smoot or torrance sunday. You guys will be in a pickle if Felix jones or miles austin make a big play on you early.

I think Spencer will wreak havoc on the d-line. He is fresh as a daisy and will be hungry for some nasty tasting Campbell crap, or whatever it's called. Two sacks and one ball batted down for Spencer this game.
