By listening to some people in the media, you would think Dallas was 1-4, and blew everyone out last year.

The Giants didn't SMASH Cinci.

I appreciate your point about Cincy but overall the Giants are playing consistently well. Also as Wade rationalized the Bengals are a pretty good team despite their record.

My concern is that with all the talent touted on this team we should be performing better and not making the same mistakes, particularly those being generated on defense that helped undo us over the last few seasons.

For example being inept twice in the red zone and enabling the Bengals to score despite triple receiver coverage.

We are winning some games despite our dysfunction but we won't be able to overcome as readily late in the season against the better teams and when competive intensity increases while the margin of error decreases.
