[quote"jazzcat22, post: 5765899, member: 1069"]That's my concern also. They still have some weapons on offense, and with Morris in the backfield. Which is why we need pressure on McCoy early. Need some sacks too. Get him rattled.
Their defense is banged up, and we should move the ball pretty easily. Hatcher will be motivated though. This is not a give me type game by no means.
I hope it is, but I go into all games thinking it will be a tough one. We should win, this is one of those win the ones you should win type games. But not taking it for granted.[/quote]

I couldn't have said it better myself. it's the seemingly easy division games that Worry me the most. The skins will come out Motivated and will play above their talent level. If we let them stick around early, or let them capitalize on our mistakes, they will develop confidence pretty quick and we could end up with a rude awakening. On the other hand, if we drive it down their throats, i.e. 10-15 play drives that consume half a quarter each, and our defense doesn't allow them to cross midfield, they will be completely demoralized and I think they will quit.

Is it too late to fly Marcell Dareus down from Buffalo, hand him a sideline pass, and have him stand around the Washington bench--preferably as close to McCoy as humanly possible?

They don't have an O-line so Morris won't be much of a factor tonight. Honestly i think people are letting their nerves get to them, i predict a comfortable win tonight and i predict at least 3 sacks for McCoy.

Dallas will legitimize themselves by beating up a weaker opponent. Great teams like the Broncos would beat the skins by 20+. Like the Pats did to the Jets yesterday.
If Dallas wins I will be happy of course, but they will prove themselves a SB contender, if they take care of business and smack the skins around tonight.

I'm not sure I agree with you here. I honestly don't think the Cowboys can truly establish themselves as a SB contender until winning their first playoff game. But that's just me...

This game will definitely give us an indication as to where we are in the pecking order. If we are to truly legitimize ourselves at Super Bowl contenders, and we need to stomp the Foreskins to the ground. We need to pulverize them by 30 points to make a statement.

I still dont think that Colt is the pushover most are making him out to be... He hasn't had many opportunities in a while, but I'm guessing that the 2014 version of Colt McCoy is actually much improved from the 2010-2011 version of Colt McCoy.

Nobody has seen this guy play any meaningful downs as a starter since 2011, so we really have no idea where Colt's game is at this moment. He's known to be a hard worker, so it is possible that he has learned to make the throws with which he used to struggle.

I'm just saying, I dont think he's a scrub, and I dont think that he thinks he's a scrub either... All that said, if we execute the gameplan, we roll.

I think Colt is gonna have a big day...if we win, we'll have to win in a shootout. Colt will go off and this will be the beginning of him fulfilling his destiny as the NEW Jeff Garcia

I hope Washington is FDIC insured because they're going to need all the help they can get.

Scratch that. I do not give a damn about Washington.

LOL. Well, I was caring enough they lose. That's about it though.

Whatever it is, I want some, too.

i've watched Colt enough to know. get to him early and smack him in the mouth. He's not Bret..he dont like it as much...lol

In his last year of play, only several plays into the Alabama game, he gave up. Officials say it was a injury. No, he just gave up against the powerful Alabama offense and left his unready QB replacement to wither.
