How can anyone not like or at least respect Dak? I watched him on Mike and Mike this morning and Greenie afterwards said the room (which had about 50 football fans) was electric when he was there. He may end up being one of the faces of the NFL.

LOL - Eli is going to get dusted by Dak next season - on the field and off.

"He is just topped by Tom Brady (22 percent), Aaron Rodgers (16 percent) and Eli Manning (11 percent)."

This is a direct reflection of how dumb we are as a society..................and why we can never have anything nice.

One of my coworkers says the same. He hates the Cowboys, says Romo is a choker and sucks but he keeps telling me Dak is the truth. Hopefully it stays that way. I have a feeling he might be hated sooner or later.

Dak is the perfect face for America's Team in today's society. To be frank, until Russell Wilson, most Super Bowl winning quarterbacks look exactly the same. Football fans in general are very diverse. Wilson is great but he will never have the platform as the quarterback for America's Team. Given Dak's intellengence, mannerism, overall likability and diverse background...he is the perfect face for the NFL to build their brand around in the post Manning/Brady era.

If Dak continues to be successful, prepare to see him rack up endorsements similar to how Peyton Manning has the past decade. Corporate America will be eating this up.

I disagree. I think polls are usually spot on but maybe that's just my background. People automatically point at the Presidential election as proof but the polls in general weren't that far off, the media was. I studied the metrics daily and a couple states had a 3-4 point swing (which is usually within the margin of error) but the national polling, taken directly before the election, for the most part lines up with the final results. The only state that was way off was probably Wisconsin which is probably because there was not sufficient data. One poll can be off but a group of polls are usually pretty telling.

A lot of polls only take data from less than a 1,000 people. When you consider there are over 300 million people, you have a very slim chance of belt polled.

Dallas has always been the most loved and the most hated. People are sick of seeing the Patriots win and Dak is a very good rookie story. Everything is believable.

Well i dont need a poll to know any of that lol.
Dak is hard to not like, until he starts beating other teams in playoffs and SB's
you can look at tv ratings and see that Cowboys are popular, people that hate them love to watch them hoping they get beat.
everyone knew the pres election would be close , and it was.

Why does everyone hate the Patriots so much? Other than "deflategate" (which was blown largely out of proportion by Goodell) they seem like a classy, perennially winning organization. Just wish they didn't collapse in those two super bowls to the giants..

I think it's kinda lame to hate a team just cause they're successful, just like when everyone despised us in the early 90s

Inferiority complexes running wild. The Patriots have done some shady things but I have nothing but respect for them, they're a smart organization that drafts well, makes smart off-season moves, and most of all which I'm envious of is their great coaching staff

There's also spygate and other shady things that they do that have associated them with being cheaters. Obviously, you can't take away from their success but there will always be a cloud around it.

A recent poll taken by Public Policy Polling shows that the Dallas Cowboys are the most hated team in the NFC at 19 percent. They're just barely edged by the New England Patriots (21 percent) for the "honor" of most hated in the NFL. The Chicago bear and Green Bay Packers checked in at third at eight percent.
Though 19 percent of fans say the Cowboys are their least favorite team, the Cowboys are in the lead with the Green bay packers for the most favorite team in the NFL. A 13-3 season made saw their percentage rise from 10 percent last year to the 14 percent this year.

Speaking of that 13-3 season, Dak Prescott also made the polls. After just his first year in the NFL, Prescott is already the the fourth when it comes to favorite quarterback in the NFL at 10 percent. He is just topped by Tom Brady (22 percent), Aaron Rodgers (16 percent) and Eli Manning (11 percent).

Maybe it has something to do with how much he cares about the environment or how much he cares about the kids or... well, we could go on forever.

Blows my mind that we're still the #2 hated team after not having won the Super Bowl in over 20 years. I would have thought Green Bay would have passed us by now. People generally hate teams that win a lot of championships that aren't their team. It's no surprise that people hate New England.

Umm, did you forget Spygate which the majority of NFL owners believe they weren't punished enough for due to evidence being destroyed before it could be looked at? They are known systematic cheaters who generally only get a slap on the wrist.
