The Cowboys and Spencer are a good fit. He likes it in Dallas. The Cowboys like him as a veteran locker room leader. But they won’t get into a bidding war for Spencer. They would prefer to re-sign him on another low-risk deal, but that seems unlikely with multiple teams already in play and him set for a free agent visit with another team Monday.

Haven't they invested enough money the last two years in Spencer's eternal rehab to get some kind of return from him? Being a hometown discount or just plain old guilt. Guys made like 20 mil working out in a wave pool.
