Because Hardy is a better player. No big surprise there. Mincey is a depth guy while Hardy is a great pass rusher.

And that's why I want to keep Hardy.

But I've read many stories about Hardy wearing on his team mates and that's not a great thing to have

I'd like to see some of those stories. Not any sort of slight towards you, but I haven't seen many examples supporting that at all and it looks like a myth to me.
