I still think Spencer is having issues with knee. He was completely over-matched in Giants game but was effective in Seattle game. Might be situation where he will be wildly inconsistent depending on how his knee feels.

Link or just speculation? I guess he tweaked his foot, nothing serious.

I am speculating that he is speculating. If his knee started swelling up then I don't know that they would let us know but the team is so closemouthed regarding health that speculation is all we get.

He also was coming off something with his foot, which was stepped on during the Seattle game. It's what caused him to miss two practices last week instead of the usual Friday he gets off. Earlier this week he said he felt like the only way to get better for him was to practice everyday this week, so he made a point to practice in all three practices this week, first time all year.

Spencer coming back was part of the reason they were able to move Crawford inside and maintain a quality rotation. Crawford was all over the field last week and it was also nice to see T McClain step up his game. Things are coming together nicely. One more game tomorrow and Lawrence will be back.

I noticed that too. Just kinda came and went like it was nothing. I actually completely forgot which game he first played.... Saints was it?

IDK. Without all the crying this place has been a bit quiet.

Spencer isnt as good as adverstised, i dont know why this is so horrible, it happens a lot in the NFL, once you take away the fans opinions, scrape off the college years, some wear and tear, thats your product. Spencer is average. its not a bad thing, lots of teams are having average guys play . we just happened to spend to much for one. happens a lot too.

Dude has been out of football played a couple of games and got dinged up. Has been reported as a foot issue. Same type thing happened with McClain and we will likely see the same with Okoye and Brent. Inconsistency as their bodies adjust is to be expected. There is a point to preseason.

He was quick enough to chase down Russell Wilson against Seattle. I don't think people are realizing the level of athletic ability he has already shown.

Fuzzy, I couldn't agree more...this fan had to be chained to the boat when passing by the sirens on the rocks.
