@therealmarklane: On @1053thefan, Brandon Weeden says he's learned more about QB in the last year with the #Cowboys than he did in the past 4 at OSU & Browns.
@therealmarklane: On @1053thefan, Brandon Weeden says Tony Romo has really helped him in his progression. "It's a great organization," talking about #Cowboys.
@therealmarklane: On @1053thefan, Brandon Weeden says Dez isn't missing out on a whole lot right now. If Dez stays out, they'll be missing a vocal leader.

@therealmarklane: On @1053thefan, Brandon Weeden says #Cowboys aren't doing enough to be hurt by Dez's absence. My comment: no big deal right now.

@therealmarklane: On @1053thefan, Brandon Weeden says he could tell from Day 1 Zack Martin was going to be a stud.

@therealmarklane: On @1053thefan, Brandon Weeden says as a rookie, your head is spinning from having so much thrown at you. College to NFL is a big jump.

Weeden might be better than many backups, but that still doesn't make me any more confident about winning games without Romo. Weeden looked overwhelmed when he played last year, which is pretty sad for someone with previous starting experience and who received significantly more reps during the offseason than they normally would have.

I find it very interesting that he says he's learned more in the last year with the Cowboys than he ever did at OSU and Cleveland.

Whether that amounts to jack squat remains to be seen, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Yeah....

Then Romo goes down, and he all of a sudden forgets how to play.

Well to be fair he was playing with the likes of Brian Hoyer, and whoever else they have in CLE. Right now he's actually sitting behind an NFL quality QB, I'm assuming he's been picking Romo's brain 24/7.

He went from doing pre-k math to rocket science.

I may be in the minority but I'm not opposed to giving him another shot. If there were better options out there I'd jump on it but I think he or Vaughn should be able to get us through 2 or 3 games.

So what specifically are you seeing he is doing wrong throwing on the run?

Hard to tell from the precise moment this photo is taken, but I would guess that he is not squaring his shoulders and appears to be about to throw it across his body.

I couldn't be more unimpressed with the guy. He was just so bad vs. the Cardinals.

That game literally kicked all the positive vibes I had about his capabilities right out of me.

My biggest fear for this season isn't the RB position, it isn't the DT spot, it's not safety... It's what happens if Romo goes down for any length of time.

Reason #87 Why the Cowboys shouldn't trade their #1 next draft for AD is because that pick could very well be used to draft a QB or use it as a combination of picks to move up in the draft to get a QB.

His lead shoulder indicates where the ball is going. I see no reason to believe that he is going to go back the other way.
