News: DMN: Dez Bryant's first purchase with his new contract?

Yea, it is a car for WEALTHY people, not millionaires IMO. Dez may be rich but he aint that rich! Sure, he could buy one but that would be a mistake. Get ya a lambo Dez and be done with it :)

All the celebs/athletes who own Bugatti's are multi-millionaires. You certainly don't have to be a billionaire to own one but you do have to be rich due to how costly the car is to keep and repair.

...and what is it that WoodysGirl cares about. What would be the first thing WG would buy if she had just signed that contract?
in no particular order,

New house
New car
Pay off student loans
Pay off parents house

Dez is pretty rich he's got the money for a Bugatti he just has to make sure his finances are being well managed. I had a friend who was making 750K a year but was living like someone making 2.5M a year and he ended up in serious financial trouble. If you're going to purchase an extremely expensive car like a Bugatti you can't just go throw money frivolously around buying more cars and a vacation home on the beach in Maui unless you're filthy rich. Athletes can run into more financial trouble than anyone if they don't know how to manage their money. They think the money will never run out so they have to learn to say no to people who latch onto them for cash. Some of these people don't care about them they're just looking to go along for the ride.

That is exactly it. People who can afford those easily continue to make money....from business, royalties or whatever. Dez's well will probably run dry which makes it a bad decision on his part. He will not get near the resale for it later. If, this is all true however :)

The first thing you buy when have money is a car that's the easiest purchase because most people have their dream car. Once you have the wheels you then go out and shop for a new wardrobe. No more window shopping in Beverly Hills now you can actually make a purchase. The house is next but that can take some because that will be you're biggest investment.

60 grand to buy 4 new tires installed! Around 300k a year for maintenance(running costs) and 3 grand a month for insurance. I have done my research, just need to find a loan shark

Dude.... That's crazy...

Go get yourself a nice 1955 Chevy Bel Air, a 1966 chevelle and a nice corvette sting ray.
That's around $100k... And you have an outrageous collection with getting anywhere near $1-2 million.

So you don't deserve a dime because you want to buy what you want to buy?

Yes. If your going to spend your money on something that dumb no you dont. I'd much rather give that money away then buy that kind of bs. It's a damn watch. Cars houses ok a watch? I usually don't care but when it's something like that it really irks me. I'd love it a lot more driving around and giving homeless people a nice chunk of change. I barely make it as it is and I always give them money. But I do realize people are into different things though.

A football players career is short so their well can run dry if they're not smart with their finances. A lot of athletes live for now because this is the best time of their lives and they want to go for all the gusto while they're young and still relevant. Once their career is over the money stops coming in and some players leave themselves in debt from all the lavish living they've done over the years.

Oh...you would love that if he got pulled over, huh? Or are you jealous that he has a REAL car and not some phoney picture of one.

He better stop the last thing we need to see is breaking news of a high speed pursuit of a Bugatti driven by Dez Bryant. :omg:He has to be very careful in that car because some cops will pull over a car like that for no reason just to see who's driving it.

I would be more worried about him killing himself in a Bugatti. The 2016 model is reported to have 1500 hp. That would be difficult to handle for a professional race car driver. My guess is that he is at the opposite end of the spectrum for a Race Car Driver.

For reference, NASCAR and Indy Car engines put out less than 800 hp, IIRC.

Don't mind Dez buying the things he wants now that he earned his big pay day.

That video must have been from the party he and Meek Mill hosted. I know it burns Philly fans that Meek Mill is a big Dez Bryant/Cowboys supporter.

I can respect your opinion on it. Just threw me off with the whole "You don't deserve a dime" comment.
