I love how other people get upset over how someone else chooses to spend their own money. Never ceases to amaze me...

Dez is already rich. He has made 12m on the field and probably another 5-10m off the field.

This new deal is legacy money. He should never be broke again.

He can afford a few toys, but it still looked like a Yukon Denali he rode to VR to sign the deal, not a a helicopter.

I guess talking about how Dez spends HIS money is serious business for some. lol

Seriously.

As if a techno skate board proves he has been TO all along.

We ought to be thanking our lucky stars that he had breakfast with Deion... because he never would have been in Dallas to begin with without that.

Not sure what this has to do with my post of people getting mad over what THEY do with their own money, but I agree. Dez shouldn't be broke, if ever. But just like athletes, people I see and work amongst on a day to day basis seem to have a problem with living within their means whether they make 20K a year or 200K a yeR. But that's their choosing; it's not my money they are spending. It's their own.

This. Like it really amazes me how people want to be these athletes accountants and worry about their money. Let them spend their money how they see fit. If it causes them to be broke then fine. That's THEIR choice. The hell is the point of getting mad over money that's being spent that's NOT yours.

I know... I wrote it because you've been told about 10 times.

I think I remember someone saying that Dez did some endorsement deal where he didn't get paid but was going to get a bugatti?

I read something like that. Can't remember for sure.

Anytime I post something that's been reported on the board that hasn't been confirmed or isn't true several will remind me of it. lol A few have mentioned he's looking at purchasing a Bugatti but I've seen no confirmation of that anywhere. Wouldn't surprise me if he's thinking about a purchase like that after the contract he signed but $2.3M could buy a very nice home in Texas and that would be a lot better investment than a car at that price that will depreciate as soon as it's driven off the lot.

I believe in personal freedom and personal responsibility. I don't believe in subsidizing someone for poor decision making.

hehe I remember when this happen.

Wish I had a video of the guy driving a Camry who rear ended a Bentley a few years ago. He looked physically ill like he had just run over someone as he was eyeing the damage he did to the backend of it. His wife was standing beside him with her hands on her hips looking like she wanted to kill him. lol

who can be surprised when after their on the field careers are over they go belly up?

It's very common with athletes who go nuts with the mansions & cars & then later have nothing.

same with lottery winners.
