Typo in title... unless we are actually talking about the Vikings giving the NFL tips on how to become the Cowboys.

That said, it people say this all the time when a good team has a tough game.

I've also noticed that "analysts" like to refer to the Cowboys as the "hottest" team in football. Anything to get away from calling this team the best, I guess.

The Patriots almost lost to the 3-8 Jets the other week, no one said they'd written the blueprint.

Not really.... It's what every team has been trying to do since the Giants game. Minny got the closest.

Correct...gotta have the personnel to do it. Then you have to execute for 60 minutes. 2-5 teams that are capable. Giants, Vikes, Seahawks, Pats....????

Vikings D is good on all 3 levels of the D,no team can match that in the NFL.Gaints have a good Dline but their LBs are average at best.

It wasn't pretty, but the Cowboys picked up their 11th-straight win on Thursday night against the Minnesota Vikings.
Now the question is: Did the Vikings give a blueprint to the rest of the league detailing how to take down the 'Boys? Former NFL defensive lineman Chris Canty thinks they may have.

"They held them to 1-9 on third downs. They held them to only 264 total yards of offense. That's flat out balling," Canty said.

You can watch Canty's full breakdown below:

(If you can't see the video, click/tap here)

The Cowboys are, without question, the hottest team in the NFL. Led by arguably the best rookie combo ever, Dallas is in a great position to clinch home-field advantage next week with a win over the New York Giants.

Minnesota certainly gave Dak and Zeke some problems, but will any team in the NFL be able to replicate what the Vikings were able to accomplish? If Prescott, Elliot and the best offensive line in the league have anything to say about it...not a chance.

Pay the refs to keep it within the point spread...

This stuff is silly.

DCs know how to schematically defend us. The Vikes just have what only a small handful of teams have....... Talent to implement the scheme.

Media is trying too hard here.

Play the run, sack the qb, blitz, and cover short and intermediate passes. That's the way.

Whatever the blueprint is, I'm pretty sure it doesn't involve being horrifically bad on offense and special teams thereby putting zero pressure on the Dallas offense to have to do anything.

Yeah, the blueprint is to use high draft picks on the defense, have them develop, and form a formidable group in a couple years. Try their method and maybe be successful in 2019. We'll talk then.

That's like saying have the Cowboys given the league the look in how to be a solid Oline?

Most NFL teams don't have the Vikes D. Every team has tried to load up the LOS with 8-9 men, stuff Zeke, pressure Dak, and line up ther CB's in man coverage on our WR's.

It's not a blue print if you don't have the guns.
