Just so you know this was about sports but unc beats duke in almost everything. Academics included

Well, we need to end this as it is off topic, you do need to do a base level Academic University Ranking, Duke (8 currently) is always in the top 10, Carolina is #30 those are the facts.

Carolina is a good school but simply not on the same level in academics overall.

Enjoy the beat down in Chapel Hill we are going to give, Romo, Garrett, Murray will all be there cheering on DUKE...lol

Compare that to Unc Jordan, Carter, Worthy, Cunningham, Stackhouse, Lawson, Scott list goes on.

Duke has good college players but they don't really produce much in the nba

Ty Lawson played 3 years went to 2 final fours and won a national championship.

Irving played for Duke 8 games a few of them coming in the tournament as a freshman and didn't get past sweet 16.

Not sure what your trying to compare here

I was looking over the stats: Duke has won 46-44 in the last 90 games, speaks to rivalry but we have the edge right now.

You were right UNC was better in terms of the last 10 years in terms of national titles (2005, 2009) but Duke has been better overall the last 25 Years overall (1991,1992, 2001 2010). Unc has 3 titles in that same time period (1993, 2005, 2009).

Overall UNC has a one title edge with 5 but we are looking at titles from 1957 and 1982 which is back in the day before Duke was competitive, I admit this fact.

Duke has the edge in ACC Tournament Championships as well 19-17.

Unc has won more in the regular season overall 29-19 but that is changing.

Since 1990, when as you rightly said Duke came along (I agree) Duke has one 4 National Titles to UNC 3 titles.

So looking at it objectively, the last 25 years Duke has been better but UNC has been better overall since the 1920's.

If we are counting back in the day, UCLA, Kentucky lead the pack but many of those titles were before many of us were born.

Both teams have an outstanding tradition, UNC dating way back, Duke more so in the last 25 years.

You notice Roy honored coach K tonight, they are close and have great respect, so should fans even if we dislike each other on the court.

As you know, all is thrown out in the tournament play, so anything can happen!

Most was just poking fun and banter but much respect as both go forward!
