Yep, you guys will get us back sooner or later, respect for taking it with class!

I was looking over the stats: Duke has won 46-44 in the last 90 games, speaks to rivalry but we have the edge right now.

You were right UNC was better in terms of the last 10 years in terms of national titles (2005, 2009) but Duke has been better overall the last 25 Years overall (1991,1992, 2001 2010). Unc has 3 titles in that same time period (1993, 2005, 2009).

Overall UNC has a one title edge with 5 but we are looking at titles from 1957 and 1982 which is back in the day before Duke was competitive, I admit this fact.

Duke has the edge in ACC Tournament Championships as well 19-17.

Unc has won more in the regular season overall 29-19 but that is changing.

Since 1990, when as you rightly said Duke came along (I agree) Duke has one 4 National Titles to UNC 3 titles.

So looking at it objectively, the last 25 years Duke has been better but UNC has been better overall since the 1920's.

If we are counting back in the day, UCLA, Kentucky lead the pack but many of those titles were before many of us were born.

Both teams have an outstanding tradition, UNC dating way back, Duke more so in the last 25 years.

You notice Roy honored coach K tonight, they are close and have great respect, so should fans even if we dislike each other on the court.

As you know, all is thrown out in the tournament play, so anything can happen!

Most was just poking fun and banter but much respect as both go forward!

Ya I talk trash but can handle it when we lose. I respect coach K but don't think he is the greatest college coach. His achievements still can't be over looked though. No disrespect but he doesn't do a great job developing his players for the nba. He will go down as one of the greatest college coaches and was honored tonight because Duke did show class and respect to the late great Dean Smith as well as the fans so props to you guys for that.

Again you guys have had a great season so far, not going to wish you luck, but do hope to see you guys again this season.

The only thing you guys have over carolina is ACC tournament titles haha

Carolina has the capacity to beat anyone on a given day, they just are not consistent.

Regardless, even teams with great programs and traditions do not always win, it is just part of team sports.

I do not think anyone will cry for us when our teams lose, heck, look at our Cowboys, losses in college BB is nothing compared to this drought!

Time frame does matter, the Cowboys need to get off this skid for the last 20 years.

Things are looking better but we have work to do.

The Steelers have 6 Sb's and we have 5 but they are not better than us in my book overall but some could argue that is just my bias.

However, they have been better than Dallas the last 20 years since we beat them in the SB.

The thing about living off past success is eventually the teams that are actually better now will catch and surpass your historical achievements, see the Steelers and NY, GB and NE are only one title of catching Dallas now.

I agree Dallas is better then all those teams. I also agree we need to get back to our winning ways. I feel like when Dallas is really good we will be there for years with multiple championships not just a flash in the pan

Sorry brother but my blue devils have been better in the rivalry for quite some time. Most of unc wins came back in the day when Duke was first coming along. And they proved that again last night, Carolina has been on a downside in the last few years and are second place to Duke now a days.
