If Wentz is Flacco, then I pass. If he's Flacco, then we need to build an elite defense around him, and if that's the case, I'd use that pick on a defender. Those raven teams were much more about Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and that defense than Flacco.

He was overrated after his Super Bowl run when people, like with Eli Manning, said they would finally enter the "elite status".

He is NOT an elite QB. He's on the level of Eli Manning and Matt Ryan. Good QBs, capable of winning the big game with a solid team around them, but they are not Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Brady, and Manning.

Flacco had one of if not the best postseasons
a QB has ever had when they won in 2012.

Although I'd rather have a Brady or Rodgers elite type QB, the Flacco types are still pretty good and worth the 4th overall.

Not quite as good as Rodgers but not bad. Flacco is still a quality QB.

Really. He wins a superbowl and almost took them to another one and he is overated.

Really, with a straight face you can say that Flacco is a top ten QB? He's pretty average QB who has benefited from top 10 defenses for most of his tenure since he has been a starter. The eye ball test says he's average.

So people are down on Flacco now? he has done more in the playoffs than Romo ever has and probably ever will.Give me a Big Qb like Flacco and i will take him everyday.

How many top 10 defenses has Flacco had?

I'm sorry, but I don't think comparing anyone to Flacco is all that flattering.....Flacco is pretty overrated in my opinion.

I agree, if he is like Flacco than I say pass. I think people get too caught up in the physical tools and over look the intangibles that separate good QBs from great ones.

Flacco is a statue. I'm not sure that Wentz is super-fast, but he's definitely fast enough to run some. And when he does, he cuts like a halfback. The Flacco comparisons are lazy, IMO.

We can get back to the 2014 level of offense (and even better), but RB isn't the missing piece -- a healthy Romo and Dez are.

Yes it is. McChicken and Morris certainly are not the missing pieces. With Elliot this offense would run like a fine oiled machine like in the early 90s.

I don't think Flacco is overrated, I just don't think Wentz compared to Flacco is a very good one. Flacco is a tall, pocket passing QB that may have the strongest arm in the league with decent mobility. I think Wentz's mobility out of the pocket is far greater, don't think he has Flacco's arm. He actually reminds me a bit of Aaron Rodgers, but he has to tighten up his release to get that full effect that Rodgers has.

Casserly's such an idiot. I can't believe he ever was allowed to run a team.

I happen to agree with him here, but he's still really stupid. Maybe he's smarter when there's not a camera on him or something, but he and Tony Dungy...I just don't get it.

I don't either but I think he's on the money with this particular thought.

No it wouldn't, not if we can't pass. Try replacing Aikman-to-Irvin with the league's 30th-ranked passing game, like we had last year. Replace those 90s defenses with this defense. Emmitt still wins four rushing titles, but the team never sniffs a winning record.

You have to be able to pass and/or stop the pass.

Check the stats pal.
