Honestly, I just think all of that is timing and coincidence. We don't know the particulars of the numbers he's been offered or even what he wants. One tweet made months ago when everything that's been said by him and the team has been complimentary as far as negotiations shouldn't be held against him. Missing voluntary workouts while he's unsigned is just part of the business. He's not going to sign a waiver and potentially cost himself millions of dollars by getting hurt. I wouldn't do it either.
As far as his personal business and change of agents. What I take away from it all is that he probably looked at how many fingers were in the cookie jar ready to get some, and decided to make a change in his business affairs. Roc Nation sounds like a one-stop shop instead of the myriad of shops that he had. I've seen nothing of Roc Nation being a bad influence on a star player. I mean, you got Skylar Diggins, a female basketball player, I've never even seen play get mega sponsoring deals.
As for the lawsuits are simply about resolving the remaining contractual obligations he had. The ThrowUpTheX dude will get a buyout. David Wells will get a buyout. All other associates will settle and get buyouts and then Roc Nation will then manage his affairs.
If it sounds like I'm poo-poo'ing all of the stuff going on, it's because I am. It wouldn't have mattered who the new agent would've been, folks would've gotten upset, because it upsets the Cowboy fan apple cart. Roc Nation Sports having a celebrity (who happens to be a Cowboys fan, btw) as a the head boss seems to put the cherry on top.
But we'll see how it plays out...
