DMN-Gosselin: Jerry Jones will not hand Cowboys over until he wins own championship

Remember, Roy Williams should be made an OLB in the 34. And yeah -- Barber's power is a real "game-breaker" Unfortunately for Goose, this is one of the 50 weeks he's still a moron.

:signmast:

what he said ...

I particularly liked the " the teams that Jimmy built with the players he recruited in Miami " line.

Jay Novacek, Mark Tuini, Nate Newton, Kevin Gogan, Ray Donaldson, Larry Allen, Charles Haley, Chad Hennings, Jim Jeffcoat, Kenny Norton, Tony Casillas, Bill Bates, and Thomas Everett weren't drafted by Jimmah " Jenius " and were established college players OR in the NFL already by the time the " Jenius " started coaching in Miami.

The least he can do is his homework but I know better. This is why he's never been reliable for anything else BUT inside information on what other teams think of players before the draft.

Now here's the better question.....If Choice was the best RB, why is he not starting?

Does he really think the Cowboys would purposely keep their best RB on the bench?

Now I'm not professing to be an expert here, but from what I've seen, Choice is by far the least effective pass blocker of the three.

Answer to your first question: Maybe because of your last sentence.

Answer to your second question: Yes. Maybe not " the best ", but the better one, absolutely. And it's happened and it's happening in other positions as well. Money plays a part in that decision unless the situation is incredibly obvious.

Illogical. Why would he do so after winning a championship? Winning would only validate doing it his way.

I really think it's Gosselin's way of saying Jerry will never give up control, atleast that's my reading of it anyway.

Jerry is like a cheap hangover for Fans, while he drinks top shelf and serves rott gut.

Jerry is the pimp, the Cowboys are the prostitutes and we the fans get screwed.

I see what you mean.

That was not congruent.

Let's hope Jerry quits smelling the roses when it comes to this coaching situation and staff. There is no excuse for this team being 1-4, and it should have won 12 games last year, imso. Two times this team has been given high expectations nationally, and two times it has flopped on it's face. The pattern is clear.

This organization needs a gut check from top to bottom. Jerry should have Mike Holmgren and other AFC teams evaluate his roster from top to bottom and his coaches, especially Phillips and Garrett.

When Jerry Jones is giving pep talks, you know your team is in trouble.

If Dallas wins this week, the roses will be flying, again.

Then, the Jaguars will come and stomp the roses in the ground.

Dude, we are going to lose at home to the Jags???

The Jags are borderline non-competitive this year. They lost to the Titans with freaking Kerry Collins at QB.

If we lose to the freaking Jags at home, thats game over. No coming back from somethng like that. Seriously, we are not a good team, but we are a hell of alot better than the freaking Jags. Wow, losing to the Jags would be like Campo losing to the Texans in their first ever game.

The worst part is that Jerry is better at his job than almost all of you guys are at yours!

I beg to differ with that statement as I do quite well at work and earn a very good living. If Jerry had a boss, he would have been fired many, many years ago.

Instead of ripping his team a new one, he gives them a pep talk. That is a clear sign that the man is delusional and needs to step down.

I doubt it but so what if he is? This board is about the Cowboys, you shouldn't try to change the subject.

I can wait it out. I'm way younger than Jerry. It's the old guys around here
this sucks for.:laugh1:

I'm a few years older than Jerry and I have made no plans to be watching the Boys in the SB anytime soon even though I would like to. Yeah, they actually could go this year but they are going to have to overcome their own self-imposed limitations to do so and I will wait patiently for them to do that but without actually expecting anything.

I quit having expectations about this group of people a long time ago. I have also quit using the word team to describe this undisciplined mob.

I doubt Jerry understands the concept of synergism through cooperation and only grasps the concept of superstar individual performers, who in his mind don't need any help from those unimportant nobodies in the front line, whom I think he regards only as necessary evils. I would think he should know better since he once played in the OL in college but what do I know?

Win or lose, life is good anyway.

Great post!

The Rangers have totally made me forget and not even care about the Cowboys right now. If they win the World Series I might not care about the Cowboys for another 2 or 3 years. When I say care I mean have a sick feeling after a loss or start getting frustrated at every turn of Jerry's mismanagement. To me the Cowboys, Jerry and the NFL are becoming boring.
