DMN-Gosselin: Jerry Jones will not hand Cowboys over until he wins own championship

You know what's tired? Automatically comparing Jerry with Al Davis as if they are one and the same.

There needs to be a strong, proven head coach brought to Dallas to lead this team out of their under-achieving, inconsistent behavior.

Even if this team makes the playoffs, heads need to roll.

Jerry Jones needs to wake up and smell the roses. This staff is in it's fourth year to get it done.

This coaching staff has to make the Super Bowl to even have their jobs considered to be safe, imo.

Holly mixed metaphor Batman.

You need to make like a tree and get out of here.

If that's the case there are some fans here who will just be so upset by that sort of opinion it might cause them to dive into a near stake of complete hatred of the team, as opposed the partial hatred some seem to display.
Not really, as there are quite a few Dallas Cowboys that I like. Jerry's not going to spoil that for me. Try as hard as he may.

GREAT !!!!!! :bang3: .... lucky im in my 20´s hopefully i see a good cowbooys team in my 50´s ............

Well , tell that to Jerry, he is the one who is making the comparison earier and easier to make !

Every day, I pray for more public transportation in Arlington. Then I also pray for Jerry to be drunk enough to take a bus, misstep into traffic and..... boom. Just do it, Nike.

I see what you mean.

That was not congruent.

Let's hope Jerry quits smelling the roses when it comes to this coaching situation and staff. There is no excuse for this team being 1-4, and it should have won 12 games last year, imso. Two times this team has been given high expectations nationally, and two times it has flopped on it's face. The pattern is clear.

This organization needs a gut check from top to bottom. Jerry should have Mike Holmgren and other AFC teams evaluate his roster from top to bottom and his coaches, especially Phillips and Garrett.

When Jerry Jones is giving pep talks, you know your team is in trouble.

If Dallas wins this week, the roses will be flying, again.

Then, the Jaguars will come and stomp the roses in the ground.

That is a good attitude to have, too.

The Cowboys appear to be in transition this year.

However, I'm still pulling for them to win every game.

Edit:

They have been caught or exposed in certain areas, including coaching.

The actual transition will take place next year, imo.

...:laugh2: and when he does he'll never let anyone take his place.

Illogical. Why would he do so after winning a championship? Winning would only validate doing it his way.

Gonna be a long fifteen years.

You're probably joking, but we should all take heed: The Lions have one playoff win in the past 25 years. The Cowboys are halfway there.

It's one playoff win in 52 seasons for the Lions.

The Raiders making it to the Super Bowl in 2002 provides living proof that even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.

Perhaps we can have such luck.
