Where are the Longhorns homers to complain about Blalock?

...any top five list that has Ryan Harris in it should be dismissed...immediately. That guy sucks. Hard.

I agree with Carriker being overrated. But even more puzzling is that I have seen many people suggest that we draft him.

Why in the heck would even consider taking a 3/4 DE? That is by far our strongest, deepest, youngest position on the team, with Spears, Canty, Hatcher, Ratliff all with great promise.

I could see a "pass rushing" DE/OLB being considered, but unless there was a huge value in the later rounds like Canty, then I see no need whatsoever for a 295 LB DE. Unless he can put on 30lbs and play the nose.

...maybe so, but that doesn't mean Ryan Harris is any good.

I may have overreacted a bit.:

your right. It doesnt mean he is any good.

I think the tackles are average in this draft from what I have read so far.

Not sure I'd go to that length....we may have two first round "talents" at that position...but they haven't exactly produced to this point. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Wade's more aggressive approach...hopefully we get the dividends most of us envisioned after they were drafted.

I agree however, that there isn't much "need" at the position.

Btw....anybody know when Goose is going to be releasing his first mock draft? I'm guessing it should be fairly soon.

does Goose usually speak w/ NFL people at this time, or is it closer to the draft?

if these are his by himself, I would take it w/ a grain of salt

Ya you overreached, Hard

Who ya gonna put as the 5th best OT in a bad OT year? James Martin? Doug Free?

Goose knows because he talkes to the scouts and GMs. He's said many times he doesn't look at film, he just gets the info from the guys doing the work, ie the PROS.

I can't help it. I'm a Notre Dame fan. The thought of Harris wearing a Cowboys jersey makes me ill. He's that bad.
