In the NFL if you have good coaching and good QB play you are pretty much a Superbowl contender by default.

I personally think we have had great QB play and we have had coaching that is at the very bottom.

You can't write off the team aspect of the game. Bengals have made the playoffs last 3 seasons and gotten knocked in the first round every time. Andy Dalton is a far cry from a good QB. Chiefs last year with Alex Smith who is in the same category as Dalton. 2 years ago the freaking Vikings with Christian Ponder made the playoffs. We have a QB who blows the socks off every team I just named but the supporting cast has been subpar ESPECIALLY last year. If the team steps up we'll be making the playoffs regardless of how you feel about Jason Garrett.
