I am a pessimistic person by nature, however, I think the Cowboys have a legitimate argument for the #1 spot -- not that preseason rankings mean squat.

My only worry about this team, other than Romo getting hurt, is there isn't a single above average player in the secondary and for the most part it, as a whole, is below average.

Hopefully the pass rush can help mitigate the loss in the secondary of Scandrick.

On second thought, maybe it was renovated into that mess from an Old West gold miner's tunnel. At any rate, it's pretty run-down looking. With an improved pass rush like we're obviously going to have....not sure why he wouldn't put us in the top 5 or 6. I don't see Denver, Balt, or Detroit being any better than last year.
Honestly, there's no reason at all we shouldn't beat every one of those teams.
