isn't performance part of the equation along with contract $$$$ when awarding compensatory draft picks?

Its a small part of the equation (playtime, stats, postseason awards). The, by far, largest factor is the size of the contract.

I dunno. One could make an argument that Moore and Harris were worth keeping. Especially given that we were signing guys to play corner who were bagging groceries a few weeks before (not really, but).

Does anyone know if Bruce Carter hit his incentive for a 500k bonus? That could be the difference between a 5th and 6th comp pick.

I miss Bruce Carter's speed and Dwayne Harris, but that's about it.

Hmm, probably wouldn't cost much to give Melton another try.

I didn't pay much attention to the Jags, was Parnell worth the contract?

Hey, Kurt Warner was bagging groceries before the Rams signed him. ;)

Jerry the GM made good choices here......l.

Flawed thinking. Unless they are exceptionally talented, team and scheme fit also helps a player succeed. It is not that easy to just laugh and say they were terrible.

Murray is a classic example of that. In Dallas, with what we did last year, he was an All Pro.
