I honestly don't feel there is a player like that on this team. Which is crazy to say but I come up with that opinion based on how things have gone this season. We lost Romo who I considered our best player. We've lost Dez at times. We've lost Tyron for games. Claiborne has missed time. The defensive line have all missed time. This team seems to take a next man approach better than anyone else and don't get the credit for it.

Zeke for me.

Followed by Lee......and wait for it Byron Jones. Don't know of any safety/db that can do what he does.

All of those guys are great and we need them to win but if any one of them went out.......I just have to believe someone would stand in for them. Its happen all year.

Lee most likely. I'd say its Fred.
I thought this too. Losing Lee hurts our whole defense and losing Fredbeard would hurt. He calls the protections for the line and solidifies the middle, I wouldn't want a backup center in the playoffs.

The most interesting part of this Mosley Q&A piece were his comments on Romo. You should click through to DMN to read his comments:

1. Said Romo and Dak are not close, implying some tension Romo feels toward Dak as Clove is currently arguing in the QC thread (others are disputing).
2. Said Romo likely didn't feel good and was acting odd after after the game for a few reasons (a) the celebration on the TD drive/pass was almost like people celebrating a basketball scrub hitting a shot in a meaningless moment when they finally get the ball (b) Romo coming to the realization his time is almost over with the Cowboys organization and (c) Romo also realizing this team as a SB shot and he isn't going to get an opportunity to lead it.

Mosely was speculating on items in #2 and said he is still trying to figure out why Romo was acting so odd after the game, but it sounds logical to me based upon the ego of a competitor.

Tough times for Tony, but doesn't seem like he felt good after the Phily game.

How on earth would he know if Romo and Dak aren't close? I mean i'm sure they aren't buddies or the best of friends. They are at two different places in their life. So them not hanging out all the time is expected. But he doesn't know their relationship. Its all speculation.

I've always got the impression that Romo and Dak weren't close

Dunbar.......:lmao:

Yeah I know he's not a fan favorite around here but when used right I have no problem with him.

I don't remember too many laughing last year when he was essentially one of the only weapons we had on offense. Actually, when he got hurt there were a lot of "hurt" people around here. But I did also list two other names in Mcfadden and Morris.

And just for the record, I don't think Dak and Tony are particularly close. And that's totally natural. Dak has been helped by Mark Sanchez and Kellen Moore quite a bit. Those are the guys that make it a fun QB room.
Yep.
