I take this as meaning Cassel will be the backup next year too.

Depends on how he plays. I think he is capable but we need to see the rest of the year.

They should move Tony to IR and bring Moore up unless they sign another vet.

What a joke. The best thing for us long term would be getting destroyed in these games. Then Jerry can see how bad this offensive "system" is. I feel bad for the players but their handicapped by a bad offensive coach and playcalling. Romo hides a ton of Garret's faults. Jerry needs to see how inept this system is.

See Jerry has it wrong. Cassel has not had prolonged exposure to the system. That perspective is why we lose. That perspective communicates that we have an effective offensive system that you can just plug in anyone and go. The real perspective is Garret has had prolonged exposure to Cassel. So Garret should know him better and be able to define a gameplan around his strengths and weaknesses.

I want the offense to fail, not for a draft pick, not for the players but if this coaching staff can not win one game without Romo at QB then that's on the staff. The offensive system needs to be exposed as a fraud that it is. 0-13 without Romo would be hard even for the most stupid, stubborn, senile old man to ignore.

Like radiation or sunlight? Haha he just means more time to develop chemistry with the entire offense...

The snake oil salesman is at it again with this load of bunk. The is basically the same as saying just because Alexander Wright had prolonged exposure to the offense he would perform as well as Irvin. Old coot has lost his marbles.

There is absolutely no reason for Dallas to play conservative anymore, particularly on offense, considering the way the season is now. If they are, it's much worse in VR regarding coaching than I originally thought.

The defense will eventually just fold if this trend continues.

Let me see, Jerry will end the Hardy experiment and bring in JF. Consider it done.

The offense wont change, JG wont change or gamble more, he will keep banging away with the usual approach, that is all he knows.
He was playing the best team in NFC and on 4th and 1 early in game on about the 5, he kicks a FG !
Best thing is go for it and if you dont make it Carolina starts on their 5.
Any smart coach would know in a game like that you need td's not FGs when you get in redzone.
