Brilliant! Orton will have only one unsuccessful play to choose from, while the possibilities for Romo in choosing from an unsuccessful set of plays was double...

He may not have a cannon, but it way more stout than Tony's. He will throw the quick slants and outs you've haven't seen all year.

Yeah, because in six years of Garrett's offense, slants have been a staple of his...

Why are the Eagles in any way going to play press, when every team has essentially played one style against this offense, which is two deep zone and give thus team the underneath. Throw in a couple of blitzes, cause Garrett can't adjust and voila.

My favorite part of the article:

“The good thing about Orton is that he understands this philosophy of I would say, for lack of a better term, Jason [Garrett's] offense. He understands what’s expected from it."

Ain't nothing really changing with passing routes and game-plan, I.e. philosophy. The same weak routes. Ironically, our most successful routes are the one's where Romo free-lances or the 5WR spread, which looks to be a Callahan addition.

when coaches say "high and tight" jones thinks they are talking about his face

Jerry needs to go in for a lift tuneup this offseason. If he can spare the time that is.

He has aged a lot this year. He needs to be pulled up on both sides.

Of course on the plus side he still has the brain of a 40 year old.

He just cannot help himself.

It is even to the point where Mike Fisher, who basically is an unpaid minion for Jones, snickers about "Radio Jerry".

But hey, he is just like every other owner. Just a figurehead. Remember that.

Exactly, it's totally normal (and wise) for an owner to give an interview where he speaks at length about the limitations of this week's starter and the overall offensive game plan.

Bob Kraft does stuff like this all this time...

Not a real big surprise here........................the guy with the $100 million dollar contract can change the plays at the line...........the backup QB cannot......................not exactly breaking news here, I think we all figured as much.

I agree for the most part, so I don't see why he has to talk about it. If it's obvious, then let it go unsaid.

If Orton goes out an plays well, Murray gets 35 touches, etc then the post-game story is how Romo has been changing the gameplan for the worse. That if he'd just stick to what was called, the team is better off.

I dont believe anything Jerry tries to feed the public. Pathetic it took me this long. Most of the times, I just take it as the opposite. Kyle has full control!!!!

He better give that 40 year old his brain back. He is ruining it.

When I read that interview where he was talking about a doctor telling him he had the brain of a 40 year old I laughed my butt off.

I wonder how much of his liver isn't pickled?

But the five yard Witten sit route are there all day and seem to be the first read at times? This offense is so ugly to watch at times. The ultimate "passive" offense, never dictating their style on the D, "excuse me D, what play can I run based off of your look? Run the ball or the five yard sit route? thanks, Witten to the probowl :) "

I wish this guy would just shut up. Why even make this stuff public. I know it's not a big deal, but whey even bring it up to the media?

He does this with all kinds of things. It's only a matter of time before he starts giving away our gameplan on a weekly basis.
