I think we will start out slow with sacks and get better as the season progresses. I project 35-40 sacks. I hope they use the blitz effectively the first four games if needed.

We got 31 last year and have improved the line although we won't have Gregory or Lawrence for 4 games. They will just have to blitz if they cannot get enough pressure. Since we generally don't then for at least part of one half we should be good with that IF they can blitz effectively. I expect to see judicious use of the blitz thruout the season esp early on.

You seem awful negative about things including this thread.

Don't like the dline at all. Itll help vs the run but dont see many sacks. It'll be a good season but Dallas is still needing time to be contenders. Romo only has 3 years left tops. Dallas will be really bad after romo for quite a while. Kind of easy to be negative after the last 20 seasons.

I sort of feel the same way, as long as tony is playing the games are fun to watch win or lose.
I dont expect a SB, each year all I want is for them to make the playoffs, and preferably win the first game, after that anything else is
just a pleasant surprise.

The addition of Elliot make this season exciting, as long as Tony plays most of the season or every game.

I hope Rod uses a more aggressive approach like he did against Miami last year.

If the offense doesn't lead the league in 3 and outs this year that'll make a huge difference with the overall defense and sacks

Better at the 1-tech without Hayden, but much worse at defensive end which nobody wants to acknowledge.

To me the key is turnovers more than sacks. Not much difference in 14 and 15 in sacks but huge difference in turnovers and that's going to be a real key for this defense

We won't sign our best pass rusher from last year and our second and third best are suspended for 25% of the season and 1 joint away from the rest of the year but the Fun Police want you to ignore that....its that invisible juice that will make things better
