Myself, I don't buy into the continual insultive phrases that distorts the degree that things are actually scrutinized by Jerry.

I never bought into the tale that he intentionally jams the machinery of the factory called the Cowboys Franchise.

The 'dumb blond' was given enough rope and hung himself, repeatedly...and even Jerry isn't able to over look that kind of turmoil. Jerry still places some value into previous scouting efforts. Talent is talent where it's found, but in writing, sometimes a personal slant is given. But about 1950 - 1960, putting emotion into description was considered good sports media. There one goes, as an emotional remedy was once great sports style.
