Miles Austin's hamstring has healed to the point where he can dress out for practice. We'll get a report from Wade Phillips later on whether Austin was limited.

Austin's practice attire does not include shoulder pads, which the rest of the Cowboys also left in the locker room.

Cross your fingers that Orlando Scandrick and Roy Williams don't cross paths again.

Williams declined to discuss his shoulder this morning other than to confirm that it is a part of his body. But he's practiced without problems since coming back after suffered a bruised shoulder when he collided with Scandrick during the open practice at JerryWorld.

Miles Austin??? Practicing??????

:scream:

Has the whole world gone mad? Or was it just another story gone overboard?

"JerryWorld".

Nice touch there, Timmy.

Miles needs to make the best of this opportunity.. If he has a good year, it can set him up for a big contract...

I have to sit down. All these exciting developments are getting to be too much for me. :)

:shush: Dang it! Now look what you've done! Some are thinking about loosing up their nooses!

Hey, I'm just happy he didn't tweak a muscle in the locker room getting dressed. :D

Good for Miles.... He can keep the bench warm for olgetree and Hurd.
May the best man win. They're still battling for that third spot. I know Ogletree has never played a real NFL game, but he has shown enough for consideration - this year.

why aren't they even wearing shoulder pads? what are they skipping practice and just having walkthroughs to prepare for Tampa:rolleyes:

You know they don't like to tackle or wear shoulder pads....that is for playoff teams!

I'm usually what they call a "homer". But I just don't see much talent in Miles Austin. I think Hurd is a better player.

He seemed pretty impressive by the end of pre-season last year, but on the whole, he seems to not have it - drops, nagging injuries, unimpressive routes.

I agree. I've never seen the guy run good routes.

Miles has talent. I think he's more athletic than Hurd.

I like both of them alot, but I've liked Hurd just a bit more than Austin, simply because he was able to get on the field before Miles and actually produced.

Due to Hurd's injury last year, Miles was able to do some good things.

Both have been dinged up to where this is a make or break year for them both.
