DMN: Our experts' Super Bowl 50 picks: Who's got Carolina? Who's on the Broncos?

First timers usually tighten up when they hit the Big Stage. Up against a tough D will make for an even tighter spot for Cam and CAR. He has always stepped up in the past but he has also shown signs of cracking when they were undefeated and had huge 1st half leads.

I see DEN winning a fairly low scoring game 23-16.

When Denver played Seattle, I was hesitant to pick a Seattle blow out, even though my mind told me it would be.

So I'm predicting a Carolina blow out. It would be one thing if the Panthers didn't have a defense. But they have a defense and one that specializes in turnovers.

I just don't think Denver can keep up.

Carolina 48
Denver 20

I think this is going to be a blowout for Carolina. I think Cam will have a big day both passing and running the ball. I hope I am wrong and this ends up being a tight game going down to the last seconds but I don't see it.

Cam is seemingly unstoppable now days, he could have a big day. But, I'd like to see Manning win one more and then immediately announce his retirement.

Carolina 20

Denver 0

Yes...a goose egg.

I get the feeling that this will happen because I haven't liked what I have seen out of Denver's offense and Carolina's defense is terrific. I don't think Carolina can score a lot of points against Denver, so I don't see a blowout and I see the defense being stingy because the lead won't be too big. And I see this being part of Peyton's legacy as a QB even though it really shouldn't be.

Panthers

Although I dislike Cam, I think Ron has been an under-appreciated coach until this season. I really wanted him over Wade back in 2006, and he clearly would have been a superior choice to Garrett.

I also root for most teams that were robbed by the congenitally cheating Patriots in past Super Bowls.

Carolina should win by at least 14 plus but I still feel something brewing for peyton.

A week ago, I felt like many people on this board regarding a Panthers blowout but the closer it gets, I am starting to think the Broncos have a shot. The Panthers are a very inexperienced team, that could work against them going against the more seasoned Broncos and theBroncos defense is legit, if they can keep the score minimal, I think this has a chance to be a very good game.

If Denver doesn't turn the ball over they'll win.

Put eight men in the box, take their running game out of the equation between and off tackle, send pressure on Cam and make him make pinpoint throws under duress. I'm willing to bet that he won't be able to do it.

I'll take Denver 27-21

If Denver can ride out , that intense game time momentum that Carolina comes out with, that intensity they have like the Super Shuffle Bears Juggernaut......then I think they have a decent chance to win. 21-20. Last second INT or FG or something....

if not..................Carolina might score 60.

calling it a close game withe Panthers winning it with a late FG.
